Four Stories in One

A week after I’d sent Faye the three scarves for the intercessors (Fresh Oil, Overcomer, and Wind & Fire), the Lord told me I was to make some for her as well – three to be exact. He also told me one for her husband.

Dear Faye,

Enclosed you will find some little “somethings” for each of you. The name of yours Tal is Increase. It’s been prayed over and anointed with the Oil of the Trinity.

Miss Faye, you will find three enclosed for you. The Lord told me there were to be three because you would have been happy with just one, but He desires to lavish His love upon you. It also represents abundant supply. Finally, the number three represents divine completion – in other words… in the area of His supply for you – it is done!

The first scarf is called Deep Worship. It is a combination of royal blue (representing Spirit & Truth and Prophetic/Revelation Knowledge), turquoise (representing the River of God), purple (representing the Lord’s Majesty), and white (representing purity and holiness). It’s been prayed over and anointed with the oil of Esther (representing the bride) and Spikenard (representing extravagant worship). As it was anointed, He had me sing over it in the Spirit.

When I made this scarf, the Lord had me begin it by seeping up dye from the previous scarf, which was also a “Deep Worship” scarf. The symbolism being that your worship comes from a place of having been broken and then made whole – the Lord turning what was meant to destroy you to what draws you closer to Him. The scarf is all about pressing in and celebrating the majesty of God – approaching His throne in purity and holiness as His beloved bride – splashing in the river of God and offering extravagant worship in spirit and in truth as He flows through you His rivers of living water.

  • John 4:24 “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”
  • John 7:38 “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”
  • Psalm 42:7 “Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.”
  • Mark 14:3 “And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head.”
  • John 12:3 “Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.”

May your worship be like Mary’s – extravagant! And may it be like the spikenard and fill the house with its sweet fragrance 🙂

The second scarf is Ashes into Beauty. It is made up of yellow (celebration), gold (purification), olive (healing and restoration), and golden brown (ashes to beauty). After which (as you already know) it was dyed again in gold (blessing) and then to which was added gold drops (divine light). It was prayed over and anointed with Frankincense and Myrrh (healing and restoration).

The verse that goes with this scarf is Isaiah 61:1-3

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

The essence of this scarf is echoing some of which the Lord said in the Deep Worship scarf – He has taken that which was intended to destroy you and used that to refine you and make you stronger and more beautiful than before – you are the head and not the tail. And your face now shines with the light of the Lord – the divine light – a true beauty of one who knows the One who loves us. Rejoice in what the Lord has done!

Finally the third scarf is called Precious. It simply reflects God’s heart towards you… you are precious to Him! It is made up of earthy red (worth dying for), red wine (bride of Christ), black (essence of God), with flecks of white (purity). It’s been prayed over and anointed with the Oil of Exodus, which was the oil used in the Holy of Holies – it is representing God’s heart. As He had me anoint it, He had me simply hold it close, kiss it and stroke it lovingly… your Daddy loves you. 🙂

Faye was overwhelmed!

Through the initial order Meghan contacted me and we were connected in the natural and in the spiritual. God created a bond in us that was instant and beyond natural understanding. Then a few weeks later, I received a package. I was so excited as I claimed it from the mailbox. As I began to read the letter attached with the scarves I could hardly see the words for the tears. Suddenly I was on the receiving end. It was so awesome to see God touch the lives of the intercessors, but I found it overwhelming for think that my Father also loved me the same way he loved them.

I am a worshipper at heart and have often times struggled with allowing Him to flow through me prophetically. Included in the 3 was a scarf name “Deep Worship” I wore the scarf to church the next Saturday and God ministered through me to a women in song. It was such a feeling a release in me.

The other scarves where named Ashes to Beauty and Precious. As I look at Ashes to Beauty it reminds me again of where God had brought me from. I had lived most of my life tormented in my mind by the enemy of my soul. I lived with a spirit of suicide always lurking in the back ground but one God began a marvelous healing on the inside of me and it has been a long but wonderful trip from Ashes to Beauty. But the hardest for me to receive was the Precious. I know God has brought me so far and set me free but at times it’s still hard to believe he finds me Precious. Every time I touch this scarf I feel His love for me. It truly is a Precious feeling, this love from my Daddy. I could not have received anything that would have touched me any deeper.

Included in the package was also a prayer scarf for my husband Tal, named Increase. The very thing God has been speaking to him for some time now. He carries it in my pocket everywhere he goes as a reminder that God brings the Increase. Thank you Meghan for you obedience in listening to the sweet Holy Spirit. All of our lives have truly changed by you gifts. – Faye

  3. It is a beautiful testimony! He is so good! I think Tami said it so well. These stories are so touching as we identify with them and see how perfectly our Father loves each of us.

  4. Oh to see our selves as God sees us. That is one of the wonderful parts of these scarves. Often it reveals the Father’s heart for us in such a tangible way. God is good. Beautiful story.
