There are pros and cons to each. Personally, I prefer the charmeuse, but the weights make it a bit heavier and the edges are serged which means they&#039;ll probably fray a bit faster with use. 

The size varies (they&#039;re very handmade - lots more effort to create), they&#039;re about 16-18&quot; along the chain the china silk is about an equal distance away from the chain, the charmeuse is longer - about 30&quot; at it&#039;s longest point. Again these are approximate :)</description>
