  1. Loved the demonstration. I am certain that it will help a lot of people. God Bless!

  2. Thanks…I was just wondering how you do that! Good timing! Thanks guys!

  3. Love, Love, Love, these flags! The colors are just so beautiful! Allissa, I also loved hearing you talk. I know, I maybe strange but you get a better sense of someone when you hear their voice. I’ve read your comments and have seen you move/flag so it was fun to hear you! I appreciated the demo and tips too. I think the swing flags are so great because they are so forgiving.

  4. Thank you soooooooooooo much!!! The swing flags are so fun to use, & its great to know how to do some of the cool moves with them ! Cant wait to practice :0) Thank you both so much !

  5. brovo! loved it, good job Allissa. I couldn’t have done it better myself. Maybe I’ll just send people to your video. =)

  6. very nice!! working with the veils, it is almost like learning how to play an instrument, how they feel, how they move. I imagine each kind is different, veils, swing flags, vois, wings, quils. Allissa do you only do swing flags can you give us tips and tricks on the other applications?

  7. Thank you so much for posting!!!! I wondered how she did that!!! I cannot wait to try it out with my pair!!!!! 🙂
Beautiful silk and beautiful ladies!!! <3

  8. FYI…the same can be done with quills 🙂

  9. @Karen: Here is a link to some of Meghan’s “how-to” videos. I’ve found if you practice and get in the groove of the basics, and get used to the feel of your flag/voi/quill, it makes the “tricks” or cool moves easier to figure out and work into worship 🙂

  10. I’ve always loved scarfs and have worn them my whole life. Now they are in big time. But these
swing flags are so amazing and i so love to see worship this way and want to be a part. How do i make them? or order…so lovely…thank you.

  11. Very good demo and oh so timely for me as my first swing flags arrived this week. Thank you both for taking the time to bless us. 🙂

  12. @Alice – You can either order them here (http://www.dyed4you.com/special_SwingFlags.html) or if you’re handy with a sewing machine you can buy the dyed yardage and sew them yourself (http://dyed4you.com/blog/2011/03/how-to-make-swing-flags/) 🙂

  13. Thank you, Allissa, for being Queen of the Swing Flags 😉 I bookmarked this one!

  14. […] flags called The Violent Take it by Force (from Matthew 11:12).  I make an attempt at the “wheel” move Allissa does, and though I don’t get it right, I’m getting closer!!!  […]

  15. 😀 Ooooh I am sooooooooo gonna have to order a pair now!

  16. Thank you so much for the tips video! I am new to swing flags but am trained in twirling flags (which is a metal shaft with a ball on the end that you hold between your fingers) I have been trying to translate my flag training to swing flag movement! It’s a bit of a challenge. But I am determined!!! Because I love my swing flags!!
One thing I have done in the past with training is that I purposely have worked my Left arm twirling 3x more and found that it will “catch up to the Right arm.” When I would get frustrated I would stop and pray over my Left arm and kindly tell it to obey, haha! :o) And it does eventually!
So I share that to encourage all the flaggers out there who are determined to used both arms. Don’t give up!! Stop pray and continue training. It will pay off and you’ll be swinging those flags with the greatest of ease!
    Blessings!
