I want to touch briefly on the topic of worship and praise. Because this is the heart behind D4Y and you are all a part of D4Y I feel like it is VITAL that we are mindful of where we are giving our praise. This is a repost from my personal blog. I hope it blesses you. If you want to see more from the personal blog, I post on Dyed4you Ministries FB page when I post new ones – so feel free to like the page and set it to show in your news feed » more »
It’s been a busy week getting caught up on orders, but also because I’ve had some extra stuff going on too! This evening is Passover followed by the feast of Unleavened Bread, which has meant it’s been time to get the leaven out of our house » more »
I am very particular not just the type of flags I use, but also by whom they are made. Obviously I have a love for the silks the Father births through me, but it occurred to me I might share why it matters who makes the flags you use.
This is a video clip from the live streaming at my church, Passion for Truth. You’ll see a number of D4Y silks in this, most notably on Cheryl (my pastor’s wife) one of our worship leaders. In this clip (about 2:22 in), she shares a good word on receiving – I thought you’d be blessed by – I know I was! » more »
If you didn’t see the post about the BEAUTIFUL prophetic portrait Alison Louise made me entitled Beauty, you will want to check that out first, because this is my testimony about how the Lord spoke to me through this beautiful piece of prophetic art.
It was so fun to have someone create a piece of personal prophetic art for me like I get to do for all of you! In this video I also share a little on prophetic art in general. I hope it blesses you » more »
This is sort of a fun story for me because God stretched me in the middle of it too! Many of you know that Dyed4you isn’t really just about getting a beautiful piece of silk, it’s about getting a word from the Lord that happens to have a tangible silk reminder
Increasingly I sense the Lord shifting me away from simply “executing” creating scarves (in other words, when people simply pick the scarf they want like you would in a department store) and focus on delivering His word in season to those who order. The interesting part of this is helping first time buyers understand how it all works! And there in begins our story. » more »
I had an email last night from someone who had been very wounded and confused by experiences in a church that moved in the prophetic. This is not the first time someone has shared a story like this with me, nor will it likely be the last.
Regrettably, experiences like these are often what have chased people away from from all things prophetic – which is a bit like throwing out the baby with the bath water. What really needs to happen is that we need to learn how to properly receive a prophetic word – and often this isn’t something we’re taught, but rather something we learn over time (and through hurts). Hopefully, what I’ve shared below will help, even if they simply serve as a reminder for people who already function in these principles.
An Ordinary Day
Today while getting ready for the day, I was reflecting upon something the LORD has asked me to do. I initially responded to Him with, “Yes, LORD.” There have been no further instructions. I am waiting for the next command. However, at various times this morning I had become absorbed in wondering about the details of the assignment. I thought to myself, “But I don’t know exactly how to do that.” » more »
I got an email today from someone who was a bit confused because she’d been to a number of color sites (including Dyed4you’s color chart) and found differences in meanings. It’s understandable how that could seem confusing! And since searches for “biblical colors meaning” and “prophetic color meanings” are some of the top searches that bring people to Dyed4you, I thought it was a good topic to address » more »
Thank you, Meghan for inviting me to share what the LORD has placed on my heart with you and the Dyed4You community. This is NOT the posting I thought I would launch with, but trust the LORD’s timing. This seems like a very intense introduction and I am humbled to share this post, as it feels like it just “broke through” my agenda and ordered plan to share. May these posts serve to encourage and build one another up in love (1 Thes 5:11). » more »
Sometimes people wonder “why” I’ve chosen various colors or oils for their scarf, or why one scarf letter is less than half a page and another is three pages (though they’re rarely that long!). The only way I can answer that is by talking about the nature of God and how He wants to use this ministry. » more »
This series of videos includes Caleb sharing on worship followed by him ministering with some flags… they’re not Dyed4you flags, but he’s so gifted I couldn’t resist sharing! But you will notice a “man scarf” I gave him tied to his belt loop in the back » more »
Yesterday I wrote a blog on believing the earthly things God tells you. Then I received this note from a long-time D4Y customer. She attends a church where each woman has been given a scarf (and as new women join, they are given one). I thought what their pastor shared was a great reminder, so I wanted to pass it along » more »
