Refiner’s Fire Flag Poi

Created as a special order, these flag poi are a cousin of the voi we carry. This video is my first try at these, so be gentle on my performance – just wanted you to get to see how they work 🙂

  3. No, but they’re 120.00 for a pair just like the voi are. They’re smaller, but a lot more labor intensive… (depending on when you are reading this comment, be aware prices may have changed so contact me for current pricing)

  5. AH I saw something very similar to these at the Renaissance festival where I live a week ago and feel in love with them and wanted some and now that I know you have them I am super excited. Meghan you can’t be any more awesome. I can’t wait to buy a pair for when I warfare dance. Stoked! oh and what size scarf or piece of fabric do you use for them? And which would you say works better for the poi the china silk or the charmeuse?

    There are pros and cons to each. Personally, I prefer the charmeuse, but the weights make it a bit heavier and the edges are serged which means they’ll probably fray a bit faster with use. 

    The size varies (they’re very handmade – lots more effort to create), they’re about 16-18″ along the chain the china silk is about an equal distance away from the chain, the charmeuse is longer – about 30″ at it’s longest point. Again these are approximate 🙂
