Voi Blooper

As if almost smacking myself in the face wasn’t enough, this is what happens when you don’t tie your silk tightly enough onto your voi weight.

Enjoy my blooper, though I confess it would have been funnier if I hadn’t been running late – you can tell I was NOT happy it happened! LOL 🙂

  1. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Thanks for making me feel so normal…lol….my bloopers are always “live”, and tend to make me laugh…or put a huge grin on my face at the least! Nothing like being in the front of the whole congregation when the flag you’re worshipping with decides to take leave of it’s rod! What strikes me funny is that I get the feeling that God is laughing, too…..nowhere for pride to find a foothold here!!! Lol! 😀

  3. @Donna – Lol amen 🙂 I was thinking that this past weekend when one of my quill flags jumped out of my hand 😉

  4. 🙂

  5. Awwww…funny! This weekend I was worshiping with my silk scarf (when dancing by myself on stage) and it got hung up by hair. 🙂 I take great comfort in the fact that King David didn’t care what he looked like when he was worshipping our Lord!

  6. Blooper? I don’t see a blooper I see joy in the making 😉

On another note, thank God you didn’t smack yourself in the face thank God for ministering angels!

  7. So, I clicked on this with the word “blooper” hoping I would hear your beautiful laugh. Guess not this time. 😉 Bummer. Not all bloopers are funny for the ones getting blooped. :/

  8. The silks are beautiful and the blooper funny. 🙂 hahaha Thanks for sharing Meghan.

  9. Been there and done that. At least it was only silk and it did not attack you in the process.
    🙂
And thank you for the chuckle.
    Be Blessed.

  10. At least you didn’t violate rule #1 of flagging.
Do not hit yourself in the eye. : )

Thank you for being a real person!!

    Very beautiful silk!

  11. I have to say, when the silk left the weight I laughed out loud. It’s pretty familiar, and i drop my flags pretty regularly too.

  12. Awww… well it could happen to anyone. The silks are absolutely gorgeous! I love these colors.

  13. Oh it so nice to see the “experts” have bloopers too!

I often hit myslef with the chain in my swing flags. I have sent my glasses flying across the room on more the one occasion too.

Of course it’s always fun when you are someplace with low ceilings and every swing adds a click as the chain or the rod hits the roof! 🙂

    Blessings!!!

  14. If the voi comes off the weight, just keep dancing 😉

  15. this vid and the comments are so encouraging for someone with two left feet. thanks so much for sharing Meghan.

  16. If I had a video for every time I goofed or lost the flag or hit the ceiling or myself…let me tell you the video would be a riot!!! Don’t worry Meghan it happens to all of us, it is just part of the joys of worship!!!
