Prayer Cloths

Description

Our prayer cloths are 100% silk with a light weight and smooth touch. This fabric is what people often call “China silk.” They are light weight with slight sheen to the surface. They are approximately 11×11″ or 6×24″, 8mm weight, and have a hand-rolled and hand-sewn hem. Measurements are done before hemming and dyeing, so actual sizes will be a bit smaller. The 6×24″ size has been dubbed both the “man scarf” and the “purse scarf” because it works well to tie on to a purse, and also makes a good size as a gift for a man (which can be used in his bible, pocket, etc.).

In Acts 19:11-12 (NIV) it reads, “God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them.” The power behind these prayer cloths isn’t in the physical object, but rather in the God who we’re coming into agreement with as we use it in prayer – both us to you (or your recipient if it’s a gift) and whoever you also have pray over it.

When creating our silks, we want to make you what God wants you to have – so we encourage you to resist asking for personal preferences (unless that’s what He’s prompted you to do). If He has highlighted a color or scripture, please include that in the personalization section. Otherwise, please leave it blank and we will create as He leads.
