As I pondered thankfulness yesterday, you all came to mind. I know I tell you just about every time I post how much I appreciate your prayers, but truly, I could not do this without you. I felt moved to do a little “thank you” for each of you. They’re not ready to get mailed just yet, but just know you’ll be receiving a little something from me as a thank you (and so if I don’t have your mailing address, make sure to send it to me!)
I’ll likely share more about the gift before you get them, God was very specific that it was to be the same thing for each of you (and myself) representing us being in unity 🙂 Before you try to tell me I’m not obligated to do anything, I’ll just tell you I know that and am not doing anything under obligation, but rather prompting from the Holy Spirit 🙂
Dyed4you Ministry Updates
My application for MorningStar is almost complete and 2 of the 3 references are complete and the 3rd is in final tweaking. Honestly the question that is the hold-up on my application right now is basically an overview of the ministry. I’m still seeking God for a download so I know what to say!
I had a dream last night, I don’t remember the details, but remember my ministry was under attack. Nothing “big” but like lots of little digs at it.
What reminded me of the dream was an email from PayPal when I got up. You see I did a boneheaded thing when I was setting up the separate account for Dyed4you Ministries (since long-term I’d like it to be 501c3 I needed to keep funds separate). When I set up the account I listed it as “not for profit” since that is the long-term plan. Well, they restricted the account and asked for 501c3 documentation. I could have smacked myself because OF COURSE a financial institution would need that. I called and explained to them what happened and what my future plans are and I changed the status from not for profit to simply an individual, but they will not take the restrictions off the account until I provide information that I do not have.
So. I’m frustrated, but at the same time wonder what I’m supposed to be learning in all this because God’s allowed it to happen… so prayer around this appreciated… favor, wisdom, patience, etc.
Also I’ve realized I don’t get a red light on becoming a 501c3 anymore, but I don’t get a green one yet. I believe I’m supposed to be under another ministry while I get Dyed4you Ministries fully functioning. I feel like I know who, but haven’t figured out how to ask and what it would take etc. Prayer over all those details appreciated!
Other Prayer Requests
- I’ve been struggling a bit with emotions and feeling disconnected to God – nothing huge, but I feel it and figured I’d request prayer before it became a mess 😉
- Carol (the Scent of Heaven) is still going through a severely trying time – prayers for grace, wisdom and protection (and provision) appreciated!
- I have a boutique on Monday where I’ll be selling the scarves and art. Last year I did a little less than 10% of my sales for the whole year on that one day. I’m bringing enough with me that I could do the same this year (although the dollar amount would be much higher since sales are up a lot for the year from last year). Prayer over the whole event is appreciated!!!
- Our dryer (which is 16.5 years old) is starting to not work :/ This is a VITAL piece of equipment to the ministry and as of right now we do not have the means to replace it. Pray however you’re led on this – God could heal it, give Allen wisdom to fix it, send us a new one, provide for a new one, etc – I’m good with whichever – as long as I have a working dryer 🙂

Blessings to you Meghan! There’s so much in this update I feel at a loss as to where to begin! I am SO excited for this new path that the Lord is taking you and Dyed4you Ministries on.
I sense that He will direct you step by step but the phrase I heard was “Just enough light for the step I am on.” He will be there with what you need when you need it–just keep pressing in like you are doing!!! I believe He is depositing seeds of great faithfulness NOW even though they may seem like small things because He is going to entrust you with much!
I an relate with the bit of a struggle emotionally and the disconnected bit–it always seems to hit me when I have had a period of extreme closeness or where I have really seen Him move and felt His presence so intensely. I pray that His presence will become MORE tangible on a continual basis for you.
I feel I heard this for you:
“My child, I take great delight in You. I love our times together. I love how we create together. Thank you for allowing me to use you to touch so many with my love. Because of this, I will rain down freshness on you so that you will be rejuvenated, encouraged and renewed. First, be encouraged in Me. Rest in Me. I am your strength and will shower you with My love. Look to me and not what is around you for I AM. Then you will be able to start on the tasks at hand and I will continue to be there to lead and to guide you. I have placed great strength within you that you don’t even know about. I have more surprises in store for you so expectantly wait and see what I have planned. ”

Father, thank you for my sister Meghan. Thank you for renewing her and encouraging her. Thank you for being her Provider in everything. Thank you for great peace over these next several weeks. I lift to you Carol and her husband Mike as well and that you continue to hold them in the palms of Your hands and meet their every need. I thank you that you know exactly how you are going to provide and take care of everything for Meghan and Dyed4you as well as Carol and Scent of Heaven. I thank you that NOTHING takes you by surprise!

Amen! One point that I’ve learned in my Hebraic studies is that this month is a warfare month. I have always gone through this disconnect feeling this time of year and just attributed it to holiday stress but I think there is more to it.
