Thank you all for your continued prayers even with a lack of updates.  Several of you have pinged me to let me know I’m still very much in thought and prayer and it has been GREATLY appreciated!  We had a fun but overwhelming new years with my family (23 people – 11 staying in the house we were at). Then when we left to come home we were 40 minutes into the 12 hr drive and the car acted up and we had to turn around and go back!

Despite a few humbling moments – at the end of it all they never could duplicate the problem, but we got 3 recalls and 2 needed repairs done and left the next day. And God supplied someone to pay about two-thirds of the total cost!  He is SO faithful 🙂

MorningStar Fellowship of Ministries (MFM) Application

Lots of other fun stuff to share today too. The first thing is that my application for MFM is now complete!!! Allen is on his way to pick up the picture of me that needs to accompany it and it will go out in the mail tomorrow – 1/11/11 🙂

For accountability’s sake, I did have someone proof it to be sure it gives an accurate flavor of Dyed4you and me – and they gave their seal of approval. Praise God. I feel good about it.  It’s funny, it’s been a couple months now since I started this process and when I went back and reread their intro letter about who they are and what they believe in, I was happily surprised there was a lot of overlap to my answers. Please pray they don’t just think I’m sucking up because I wasn’t – LOL!

D4Y Ministries Website

I have a good portion of the D4Ymin website complete and you all will likely be getting the link to it soon so you can see what you think. I’ve loved seeing how this has come together. God used several of you to give very specific and necessary pieces to completing portions on the site (some of which also went into my MFM application) – so thank you!

D4Y Min Covering

I have not heard anything yet from the ministry I asked to pray about allowing D4Y Min to come under their covering (which would include their 501c3 tax deductible status), but I’ll be seeing them again shortly – prayer regarding favor and God’s will in this situation appreciated.

Speaking Request

I did receive a request for a speaking engagement that would have been early in February – as COMPLETELY excited as I was, the Lord told me it was not quite time yet. Gratefully, they agreed with what I’d heard and we’re going to look at dates further in the spring, which is what I was understanding the Lord to say.  So – stay tuned for a trip to OH 😉

I know the speaking portion is coming – prayers around me doing whatever is necessary to be completely prepared are greatly appreciated. I still am not totally sure why Feb was “too soon” exactly – not sure if God wanted to wait until I’m under MorningStar coverage, if there’s something I need to learn first, or something totally unrelated to me, or what – but I want to be ready because I’m excited for this part!

Facebook Advertising

I felt prompted to do a little more Facebook advertising for Dyed4you. I expanded my target a bit and so it was going to:

• Women
• over 18
• who like “ElijahList” or “Sid Roth’s It’s Supernatural”
• I even had one version of the ad targeting Joyce Meyer fans (which is a huge base but not as perfectly targeted as some of her fans might be stretch by the prophetic aspect of what we do)

If you have other ideas for targets, feel free to share! I ended up add people who’d like “Bethel Church in Redding” later in the campaign too.

This target worked well. In under 4 days (and about $30) I got 120 new followers on Facebook and about $160 in direct sales so far with others indicating an interest. I admit I appreciate when the advertising pays for itself right away 😉

Sales

I’m happy to find that even after the holidays, sales have held steady – which is needed and very appreciated.  I’m interested to see what happens in the coming couple months. I am trusting God that He will continue to bring it what is needed for us financially.  I’m still hovering around 65-70% of what I need to have coming in at a minimum – so it’s a bit of a juggling act, but God has been very faithful and so each need is met in its time (which is good because my oldest step-daughter just got engaged so we have a wedding to figure out how to help pay for!)

In Conclusion

I say all that just to give quick updates on the main goings-ons with D4Y and I trust that each of you will be led to pray by the Holy Spirit. I so appreciate your prayer covering and pray for a multiplied blessing back on each of you. I pray for each of you as the Lord leads me too 🙂
