Dear Friends and United Warriors in Christ – although I wrote this for a specific couple – I am hearing the Lord say to post this here.  I truly believe there is another couple whom this will minister to AND I also believe that it speaks to us as a CHOSEN support team.  As I read this today I realized that as the day comes closer – and as we pull together – the revelation of how deep His love is for us is unfolding even greater.  I pray this blesses someone today! Be strong dear warriors in Christ – it truly is an honor to be called here with all of you!

Deuteronomy 14:2 states “ 2 for you are a people holy to the LORD your God. Out of all the peoples on the face of the earth, the LORD has chosen you to be his treasured possession.”

Matthew 12:18 “Here is my servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations.

Isaiah 41:9 I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you.

Isaiah 42:1
[ The Servant of the LORD ] “Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will bring justice to the nations.

Chosen:
You have been chosen to lead and restore the lost.  Through the blood of His Son – the Almighty God has chosen you both.  You both have been HAND PICKED by the Lord to carry out His message of unconditional love and acceptance.

You are not a “fly by night” couple.  You have been tested with trials, tribulations and a whirlwind of storms in your youth.  You have stood firm when the world thundered that you were less than valuable.  You are rooted deep.  Although you have been shaken and bent, as birches in a heavy laden winter,  you have the resiliency of the birch.  That resiliency has has allowed you to rebound with great strength.  You both are tender and merciful.  A mighty blessing in these days of confusion and darkness.  You can see deep within the hearts of those who do not understand and share a compassion of great depth.  Caution in that mercy – for you can be overcome and undermined.  Compassion can be twisted and taken advantage of should you not seek wise counsel in situations that appear simple.  Take great heed in these days – for many things will appear as they are not.  In moments of fatigue submit these situations on bended knee.  Seek His face for revelation of the true answer.

Qualified:
You both traveled roads that have taken you to the ends of the earth and you have looked to jump.  YET the Lord clearly states in Isaiah 41:9 that He has chosen you and not rejected you.  Therefore you were not allowed to end the work HE started.  Although there have been days where you have said – “I am rejected – I am of no value – I cannot make this stand for I am not qualified”.    The journeys were to make you relatable – touchable – genuine.  You can truly say – “been there – done that”.   You have both stood – humbly, committed and surrendered – YOU ARE QUALIFIED.

Treasured Possessions:
Out of your brokenness you both became TREASURED POSSESSIONS of the CREATOR – the one whom without HIS breath – you do not live.  A couple set apart as God’s treasure – something of great value – rich in His eyes.   God’s care for His treasured possession is FOREVER!!!!!! Hebrews: 13:5 – Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you.   You sparkle as great gems and shimmer of refined gold.  You are the riches of the GREAT KING!

Delight:
To satisfy greatly!  Oh how He is greatly satisfied!  As you have stood head on in the winds of adversity – you have maintained your integrity and belief system without compromise.  Hence the Lord has entrusted you with HIS CALL to His children.  You both are armed with sincerity,  humor, sensitivity, tenderness, and great faith.  These attributes are those of mighty servants.  Willing to submit but not be overcome.  The Creator takes great delight in you.
