Ladies I am coming today with a MAJOR praise report that I FULLY believe is a direct result of your prayers!

As you know, Dyed4you is our primary source of income, and since the bulk of Dyed4you money comes in via the website most of our money goes into my PayPal account (not the D4Ymin PayPal account that I’ve been having issues with – this one handles all D4Y/D4Yart sales).

One of the main ways we get money out of the account is by PayPal debit cards – Allen and I each have one.  Well apparently someone stole the number from my card and tried to purchase a computer online with it!  Well, I just had my first wholesale purchase (yay!) and so I had quite a bit of funds in there, but last night I’d had a sense of urgency about placing an order to my distributor – if I hadn’t the sale for the computer would have gone through!!!

As it was, the card was decline, but the person then signed up for something on Apple’s website (the $1 authorization showed up in my account) and, thank you Lord, PayPal called me to make sure nothing funky was going on.

They canceled my card and are issuing me a new one but I cannot tell you how big of a deal it would have been if the cash had come out and we’d had to fight to get it put back in!!! God is SO faithful and merciful. Thanks to all of you for your prayers over our finances – I KNOW we were protected today as a result of your intercession. 🙂

Book Covers

I’ve been asked to do the book covers for a series of books. These books are basically under the radar outreach. What I mean by that is if I told you the topic and told you it was a Christian, homeschooling mom of 4 who wrote them you’d be shocked. But basically the Lord burdened her heart for the young adults being sucked into a particular genre and felt led to write a series.  I have read the first book and much to my surprise thoroughly enjoyed it. I expected it to be dark and spiritually icky based on the topic, but it wasn’t.

She’s used this opportunity to “salt them up” dropping bible verses periodically (but not enough to put anyone on alert – she has wiccans reading these), biblical principles woven in, and her main characters are Christians and talk about their faith.

Since I was connected with her I felt I was to do her covers for this series, and then she asked. When she did though I felt a hesitation in my spirit, like a “yes I should do it, but…”  Now at that time she was only asking me to do covers for books 2-4. She believes the “but” is that I’m to redo the cover for book 1, and I believe she may be right.  I don’t have a “check” but I also don’t really feel like I’ve gotten a “GO!” So I wanted to ask you all to pray for wisdom and for you to give any insight the Lord might give you 🙂

D4Y Redesign

As most of you know, I’m working on redesigning the Dyed4you.com website. When it’s complete, it will tie seamlessly into the Dyed4you Blog site – with one look and feel that coordinates with the feel on the Dyed4you Art website and D4Ymin site (with the scarf background).

I will launch this site after I’ve officially heard from MorningStar. I want to wait until then because there’s a link to the D4Ymin site at the top and I feel a hesitation about publicizing the existence of that site until after we’re joined to MorningStar.
