First of all, I LOVED this teaching! I learned a lot and was happily surprised to find a number of areas where I’ve “stumbled” into a great habit and am walking in something of power that I didn’t really understand.

Secondly, it took me 2.5-3 hours to read this, which I concede I loved every minute of as it was a great teaching, but I am humbled and honored at your willingness to do this for me. I pray it blessed each of you personally as well. I just want to apologize because I realize my initial time estimate was probably way off for some of you (unless you read REALLY fast, which I just can’t do when it’s meaty) – so again, THANK YOU for taking the time, very appreciated.

Third thought, I feel more certain than ever this spirit is in operation in my life, and possibly my husband’s as well. DrMel identified several more examples as I shared with her the last few days. I am incredibly excited to be addressing this nasty bugger!

Below are some thoughts and prayer points I got as reading the article. It’s not everything that stood out, but some points that for me, were key.

  • Pray over our home to cleanse any possibility of this spirit having access
  • I don’t believe I fully “get” how pleasing my constant worship and steadfast heart attitude towards God is nor how annoying it is to the enemy!
  • People who don’t want to pay the full price for a high relationship with God often are jealous of those who do. — we have definitely paid, thought it’s definitely been worth it 🙂
  • The God’s sovereignty example on pg 9 makes me think of a dear intercessor friend. God – MERCY and freedom for my friend.
  • Pg 12 “God is holy, just and wise. Every gift from Him to you has gone through those 3 grids and many others… If God has given something to you, you have an absolute legal right to it.” Selah
  • Pg 23 “They (the disciples) were not permitted to tolerate a devaluing of their anointing.”
  • Pg 26 “…giving honor to each other needs to be a core value.” AMEN!
  • This spirit has been in operation in my sister’s life. Generational?

All the above comments were made prior to my time with Mel and your comments. My thoughts below are those afterward.

Computer Prayer Request

One prayer request before I go (I have to be up in 4 hours to take Mel to the airport!) – my computer is having a consistent issue. My brother-in-law fixed one issue I was having and now a more severe one has started.  Pray for wisdom for him and resolution (and safety of all the data!!!) is GREATLY appreciated!

    Meghan, you have such a soft and yielded heart towards the LORD. Fresh grace and slathered with peace upon peace. Eyes to see and ears to hear the call to walk the narrow path. New shoes. A tunic and belt. Looking ahead while living and rejoicing in the present, as you are in His prescence. New book. Amen.

    What a beautiful “snot fest” lol . Purging and eliminating. No more though I was thankful I could not experience that part fully. ;0

    I agree and say AMEN, AMEN AMEN! Thank you Mel for speaking for us because it truly is an honor and was our joy and delight. I love hearing the eloquent words that brought such life and deliverance. What a awesome bunch of sisters I have! Praise you Lord, for all of your good gifts!
