The good news is sales on Monday and Tuesday were very good, which shouldn’t surprise me because bills came in Tuesday and the sales pretty much covered them! I’m grateful though I confess I still long for a bit more wiggle room, but He knows best 😉

Second good news, is I’m pretty well rested and recovered. The not so good news (and first prayer request) is that I have a bunch of D4Y stuff that needs tending to but it all feels a bit overwhelming and I’m not entirely sure where I am on some things. :/ So please pray for grace and wisdom to pick everything back up and get caught up in relatively short order!

I heard from Kim Clement ministries this week (after I followed up with them), and it’s not looking likely for the bulk order, which I confess I was more disappointed by than I thought I’d be.  First issue is budget, it looks like they’ll have less to work with than they hoped, and Kim wants a “heavier” mantle. Since I’m only anointed to do silk, this leaves me with little option but to bow out and wish them the best in finding something else. I’ve offered up one more idea, but I’m not holding my breath.  Trying to remember this is in GOD’s hands and if the Lord wants ME doing them, He’ll make sure Kim knows it. In the mean time I need to rest in Him. The thought of the influx of supply was an appealing one since many things have gotten set aside during this season of transition from full-time corporate salary to full-time ministry. But again, GOD is my supply, not Kim… yes, I’m reminding myself even as I say it 😉

Finally, I have a prayer request for North Star Books (you all may remember Donelda who is a part of the team owns it with her hubby and the now sell both Dyed4you silks and art) and Dyed4you Art just finished helping them with a website redesign (I’m so behind I haven’t posted it to the D4Yart blog yet!).  They’re coming up on the 3 year anniversary of the store this summer. The story of how they got into NSB is a good one – it’s on their about page if you’re interested.

One thing became abundantly clear to me during the go-live of the website – the enemy does NOT like their ministry (which is their store).  Go-live should have been “flip a switch” kinda simple, but when the flip was switched files COMPLETELY disappeared and no backup could be found.  They are on my web host and in the better part of a decade with my host I’ve NEVER had something like this happen – so it’s not negligence on his end that did it.  Then to top it off, ultimately I asked several of the prayer team members to join us in prayer and the website started working without anyone touching anything!  So yeah, definite spiritual warfare.

I say all that to say this. They were called by God into this.  They have invested financially and through much blood, sweat and tears – and now they are ripe for some breakthrough.  Sales are unexplainably down recently and even before they were this season has still been a major financial stretch, but they continue to walk as they feel led and trust He will provide.

As a support and partner with D4Y, I ask that the Lord multiply ALL they’ve sewn into D4Y as well as the many other places and lives they’ve sewn into. I ask for a harvest that is pressed down, shaken together and overflowing! Lord show Yourself faithful to these children of Yours who have laid everything on the line to obey Your voice. Lord, if there is something blocking their breakthrough I just ask that the hindrance be removed.  Thank You that no weapon formed against them will prosper and that since they have waited on You they will not be put to shame.  I ask for grace in these moments before You move swiftly on their behalf. May they learn every lesson in this season You desire them to be taught. We thank You that Your plans for them are good and that they will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.  Be exalted God in their lives and in the fruit of their hands!!! Bless them Lord, in Jesus’ name.
