Breakthrough on the Horizon

I had a dream the other night that was about me and for me but there was a small section with Allen in it. I thought that was rather strange but it was emphasized to me after I woke up that what I said to Allen in the dream I was to actually tell him.

I believe that there are a number of us in the same season. It is a season I have called ‘Something New, Something Different’. Within this season there has been the idea that there is a ‘New Day Dawning’ and breakthrough and insight and newness.

For this post I am asking for prayers to usher in this New Day, this Something New, Something Different that I feel the Lord has for many of us.

Untitled Dream:

I had this dream where I was going to go to a Zumba-like class where we were going to dance and praise and worship but also work out at the same time. It started at 7pm and we knew that the first class was boring because they did all of this preliminary teaching stuff.  We sitting in a classroom getting instructions for what seemed like forever. Then we finally move to the gym where there is more waiting. I see Allen laying down by the bleachers and I walk up to him and say

“if a woman was really pregnant and ready to give birth she would not be expected to (and i do not remember this part word for word but had the sense of “carry a lot”) so would it be with a man. He would not be expected to carry a heavy weight being that pregnant.”

Also, there was this sense of you (Meghan) being on a webcam encouraging people (us going to this class). It was if you couldn’t actually be there you were still a part of what was going on and you had a large encouragement role for us.

A separate but similar thing:

I saw this “painting” sitting on an easel. Although it was not a painting because it was not on a canvas.  At first it looked like the logo for the Dharma group from the TV show “Lost”. I then realize that it is a sunrise. It had black lines bursting forth and pink, purple, and blue,. I ask what the name of it is and av voice tells me “New Day Dawning”.

Isaiah 60:1, 2 NASB
“Arise, shine; for your light has come,
And the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.
“For behold, darkness will cover the earth
And deep darkness the peoples;
But the LORD will rise upon you
And His glory will appear upon you.”

It goes along with a Catholic song I remember called “City of God”

Awake from your slumber! Arise from your sleep!
A new day is dawning for all those who weep.
The people in darkness have seen a great light.
The Lord of our longing has conquered the night.

Let us build the city of God.
May our tears be turned into dancing!
For the Lord, our light and our Love,
has turned the night into day!

  2. Thank you Allissa for sharing. This bears witness. For awhile now I’ve felt like something is about to break forth. Something quite heavy has been upon me that I can’t quite understand. I can sense a flurry of spiritual activity around me, yet can not discern what’s going on.

    Here are some thoughts to ponder:

    Allen seems to have been in this place of waiting for awhile. He is in the right place even though it feels like a waste of time at times. He is no longer struggling to make something happen; resting, expecting. He has laid it all down in the stands/bleachers and is awaiting impartation. Even though Meghan is spiritually pregnant, he (like fathers-to-be) is equally affected by the pregnancy and may get over looked or be under-appreciated by others because he is not the one carrying the baby? Meghan is too far along (3rd trimester) to travel. But she is NOT limited by time and space; in real-time via technology. Stays connected and pours out all she can when called upon.

    I pray shalom, shalom over you all and the D4Y team. Thank You, Yeshua for Your intercession. We LOVE You.

    in the dream Allen does not appear pregnant – but I go up to him anyway. I do believe that Meghan is on the brink of something, and also she is carrying a “baby” of dyed4you.
    Part of the dream emphasized Allen’s ‘pregnancy’ even though he does not appear pregnant.
    Maybe the idea of not carrying dyed4you but I do believe he is pregnant with his own “thing” ready to be birthed. When I say thing I have the sense that it is something in then spiritual realm. A greater level, a new authority/anointing – something along those lines. Something large and very important but not as visible.

    Allen, I think there is an opportunity to release that which is growing and wanting to be birthed within. And by my recognizing your pregnancy even though you do not look like it from outward appearances I feel has power to it.

    my prayer for you: I declare that what I said to you in the dream, as well as conveyed it to you here releases your “due date” from bondage. In acknowledging your ‘hidden’ pregnancy/potential I call it forth it to release what needs to be released, broken, and poured out in the spiritual realm. I declare that you, too, have a major role to play in the Kingdom and you have only but tasted a small portion of your value and promise and authority that you have been called to walk in.

    Sword in hand
    I see you with a very long sword in your hands. You are having to use both because it is too heavy to swing with only one. I see you cutting this string (it looks like cobwebs but very large) from all around you.

    I believe that the sword is so large and heavy because it is the actual sword that the LORD has given you to use, but right now you have not grown to fit it completely. But that is ok. You are still able to use it. The LORD would not give you a tool that you would not be able to use. Bt he is showing you that he is calling you to be a much larger warrior than you currently are. I hear him say, “get ready. There was a reason that you have had to be pregnant for so long. That which I am giving you needed a long incubation period since it is so large. Get ready. Gird up your loins because I am preparing a new place for you and a new season. Get ready!”

    Lord I pray that Allen see all the cobwebs/ spiritual hindrances that are standing in his way and that you guide him in how to use the sword and the other tools that you have already given him to cut the cords that have held him back. I declare that nothing can stand in the way of the LORD and His plans. His plans for you will come to pass and I say that you have waited long enough!

  6. Just read this today, Dec 13th. Yesterday morning I was interceding for a friend who has stage 4 cancer. As I was praying I saw me grabbing a baby and pulling, like at a birthing. I heard the Spirit say “7 months” and I immediately stopped. I repented for praying the way I had been, I wanted my friend healed right then and was tired of waiting. But I knew from what the Spirit said, I was trying to pull healing forward to early. There is a timing in God, that rarely aligns with my timing, for all things. I didn’t take this to mean my friend will be healed in 2 months, but that the time of her healing is in His hands.

    All that to pray this over Meghan and Allen. That the timing of all things new and things birthed to you will be God’s perfect timing and way. Everything in your lives be synced up with the Lord and His timing and ways. Nothing premature and nothing late, but right on time. And those things that are out of sync, I call them to be synced up with the Lord. Thank you Lord for healing every area that was out of timing, everything that was out of joint, be placed correctly. Father above all else, YOUR kingdom come and YOUR will be done and for that I praise your Holy, blessed Name.
