Gift and Team Updates & Changes

I cannot believe it has been a year since the last time I did a “big” thank you gift to all of you, but with Thanksgiving rolling around again, my heart is filled with gratitude for all your support of me and D4Y as a whole.  So the Father has released me to do another gift 🙂

First thing He told me about was an 11×60 scarf. I argued with Him (for a while actually) since it was smaller than last year’s, but finally I had to obey because I knew what I was hearing – LOL! So I asked Him who He wanted to have birth the word and He began by showing me Kim O, who gave me the pieces He downloaded to her. (I so appreciate ALL of you that He uses to help birth words!)

Then I asked Him who had the next piece, and He showed me Allissa and so I contacted her, but when I read what He’d given her, I realized it wasn’t JUST for a scarf, there was to be art involved too… I was starting to realize why He’d picked the smaller sized silk 😉

He gave me some pieces to both the silk and the art too and told me there was an oil that was to go with it too.  So in the end, the gift that each of you will be receiving is an 11×60 silk called Royal Birthright, a printcard of Rightful Place, and a sweet petite of Royalty oil that Carol has hand-painted for each of you. You may remember the testimony I shared on the D4Y blog about the Royalty oil, if not – be sure to check it out!

The printcards are ordered and as soon as they arrive I’ll ship the gifts off – hopefully early next week. The words for each of these is at the bottom under the team updates – I know it makes this a LONG update, but hopefully you’ll forgive me!

I sooooo appreciate each of you and the roles the Father has called you to on this team.  Bless you!!!

Team Updates & Changes

It is with much emotion that I announce that DrMel (Melijen) will be stepping down from the team. What many of you may not realize is that DrMel has been acting in a lead intercessor role for about a year and a half.  I can’t begin to tell you what an incredible support she has been both prayerfully and emotionally.  Gratefully, the Father has been preparing my heart for this or I’d REALLY be a mess! Regardless this is a tough one for me.

I know the close of this season isn’t an end to our friendship, but truly she’s been such an invaluable support and will be greatly missed. I am grateful and honored the Father saw fit to bless D4Y and me personally with this precious, godly woman for this past season. I know what she’s deposited into both me and the ministry will continue to bloom long after she’s moved on.  Mel, you are a treasure!!! Thank you 🙂

Gratefully, the Father showed DrMel who should replace her in the role of lead intercessor, which He confirmed both with me and Christina (who you may not realize is the “senior” member of the team in that she’s been praying for D4Y since the 1st quarter of 2007, which was only our 2nd quarter in business!). I’ve had the opportunity to run it by a couple more of you who also were on board so I’m hoping you all will be.

As of this past week, Allissa has officially begun acting in this role.  The phrase the Lord gave me is “the baton is being passed” – I share the exact phrase because several of us felt witnesses from the Holy Spirit when this exact phrase was said.  And though DrMel has already stepped down as lead intercessor, she is staying on the team through the end of the year to facilitate a smooth transition.  I feel like the Father has highlighted who the addition is to be when DrMel steps down. Please cover that in prayer as you feel led.

One of the things that has been made so clear to me during this transition is the importance of each person in their role. Each of you is a VITAL part of the Dyed4you Prayer Covering.  Some of you may have a small piece (only praying in agreement briefly when each email arrives) while others of you may lift the ministry in prayer on a daily basis, and many levels of engagement in between.  But if anyone is not filling their role, there is a chink in the armor and we’re vulnerable.  This isn’t about all things being equal, but rather each person doing exactly what they’re called to do for exactly as long as they’re called to do it.

When I actually spoke with Allissa about prayerfully considering taking on this role, one of her first concerns was whether people might feel slighted or be concerned since she’s the newest member of the team (this comment is what prompted the thoughts I shared above about each person filling their God-given role).  My initial response was to say that it wouldn’t be an issue since the role is behind the scenes… but at soon as I said that, I immediately sensed the Father saying “not anymore”. The role of lead intercessor will be more visible moving forward.

So one of the things that will be changing a bit is that Allissa may do some of the posts in here (like the one she did already – or when I’m in a funk, she may chase me down via phone and post an update so you don’t end up with radio silence).  You will still totally be hearing from me too, so don’t worry I’m not disappearing. 🙂

Allissa is also feeling a burden to not just cover D4Y in prayer, but also to cover the team members in prayer as well.  She’s going to share more of what the Father is giving her on that in a later post, but she wants to make herself available to cover any personal prayers you may have (which of course I am happy to do as well).

For those who are on Facebook, many of you know there’s a subset of folks who have been enjoying interacting with each other and sharing prayer requests. To help facilitate this and create a place to make that even easier to do, I’ve created a private Facebook group. I will have to add you to the group if you wish to join (which I hope you will!) and we’d like to limit those in the group to those who are on the team.

If you’d like me to add you to the new Facebook group – drop me a note and let me know!  Once you’ve been added to the group, you’ll be able to adjust your email alerts so you can be sure to get them (or not get them) based on preference 🙂

I know all that is a LOT of information – hopefully it isn’t too overwhelming!  Again, I SO appreciate all you guys do – on this day of thanksgiving, I am giving thanks for each of you!!!  Have a blessed Thanksgiving 🙂

Scarf Word

The name of your silk is Royal Birthright. The colors in it are:

  • Imperial purple representing royalty
  • Violet representing inheritance
  • Gray representing living stones
  • White representing garment of praise
  • Lavender representing the beauty of being known
  • Silver shimmer representing redemption

This silk represents being born into one world and then pulled into another Kingdom. In your place of birth (your former life), life seemed hard and there was sadness, a sense of not being good enough, not worthy, and unloved. But this is not the life you have been called to.  You truly are royalty though you did not know it or may have struggled seeing it. All you have known was the life you were in.

But the Father has drawn you into His courts and crowned you with a crown that far outweighs the trials and tribulations of the former life. That former life did play a role into how you were shaped – the things you learned along the way made you who you are, and – though that life has helped form the beautiful child of God you are – now you are called to pick up your Royal Birthright and to join the King of Kings in His court. This silk represents a “robe of righteousness”.

One scripture that goes with it is from 1 Peter 2:9-10

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

Another scripture that goes with it is from Isaiah 61:10

I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, My soul will exult in my God; For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

It has been prayed over and anointed with the Scent of Heaven’s Royalty, which is used as a reminder of our true identity. The scripture that goes with this oil is from Matthew 5:9

God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God.

I pray it blesses you!

Art Word

Rightful Place depicts one of the Father’s children leaping into the fullness of her inheritance with complete abandon and trust.

“I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, My soul will exult in my God; For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.” Isaiah 61:10

The two silks in this image are Royal Birthright and Daughter of the King. The colors in Royal Birthright are imperial purple representing royalty, violet representing inheritance, gray representing living stones, white representing garment of praise, lavender representing the beauty of being known, and silver shimmer representing redemption. The colors in Daughter of the King are purple representing inheritance, amethyst representing child of the Almighty, plum representing abundance, and metallic gold representing blessing.

His beloved has been clothed in royal robes, and a crown placed on her head and below her, a scepter. The Father is awakening her to her true inheritance and a clear understanding of her place within the courts of the Living God where the water of His Spirit overflows.

I pray that you too would take your rightful place, receive your inheritance, and walk in the fullness of all He’s given to you. You are royalty.

  1. Meghan your heart is so big and you are so loved!!!

Wow..Wow…Wow.. My breath was taken away with the words for the scarft. I don’t know where to begin. I can’t wait to talk to my best friend about all of this, this is so God!!! And it is Good. We went to a conferance last Friday and many of these words were spoken over me..Yeah God!! Secondly I been thinking the color purple alot in the last few months, God knew just the perfect timing. HE is just so amazing!!

I wish you all a Very Happy Thanksgiving!!

  2. God is so amazing:) I am honored and am in awe of what He is doing though D4Y.

Meghan, I love you and am blessed to be your friend and be a partner with you in your ministry. I have been blessed by you in so many ways, that I am transformed even more in the likeness of Christ and now dance as Father’s daughter. I see how you fastened a beautiful emerald in my crown that was once stripped, stolen, and defaced. I am whole and I joyfully praise Father for you. I decree Deut 1:11 over you: “Indeed, may the LORD, the God of your ancestors, make you a thousand times more numerous than you are now, blessing you just as He said He would!

D4Y Prayer team, I bless you in Jesus’ name. May the presence of the Holy Spirit reign down upon you and give each of you the gift of laughter. Laughter will bring breakthrough, as laughter is a good medicine (Proverbs 17:22) and God laughs in derision of His enemies (Psalm 37:13). As you are joint heirs with Christ and seated in heavenly places, ask Father to show you heaven’s perspective of your circumstances. I decree weddings, an end of toxic relationships, healthy weightloss, exuberant praise, visitations, and any form of abandonment to be broken now and filled with Yeshua’s healing balm. Amen:)

Allissa, I see a fresh and gentle wind gaining momentum. There are musical notes on the wind carting heaven’s melody. I hear: “play the chords, play the chords.” Deliverance is the children’s bread. As you play and sing or even hum, the atmosphere shifts in line with the glory of heaven. Expect Father to grant you your petition–there is one in particular that you have waited 2 years for, that is being released. You will not have to storm heaven, you have the Father’s ear, and His heart is in you. I bless you.

Hmmmm… As I close this out, right before I bless the ministry, I sense the Holy Spirit prompt me with a word of knowledge. There is a woman on the team that has read to this part and has felt disappointed. I heard: “what about me?” I sense Father has drawn you closer to him though your dire financial circumstances. He is saying: “the floodgates are opening. Expect me to move on your behalf. Your prayers have gone up before me as sweet incense. I have carried you as a child and I continue to carry you. But now, I want you to stand, STAND in Me. I take off my royal cloak and place it on you. Time to decree what I have placed in your heart. You will nit be destitute and I would never allow you to compromise your values or morality. You feel like I have yanked the carpet from under you. Yes, I know that hurt, but that carpet represented a past that was no longer fit to stand on. Now you stand on a bare floor covered by My presence. Stand on Me, Woman of God. I AM your foundation and you will see a turnaround with the next three days. This is your Thanksgiving to remember with joy. Thank you for your prayers. Heaven applauds you. I LOVE you. I always have.” selah~

    Amen

I am pausing before blessing D4Y Ministry.  I was not expecting the above word. I feel kinda “zingy” right now. It’s His love.

D4Y Minstry, Father, may Your powerful roar reverberate through D4Y Ministry. You are the Lion of Judah and we look to You as a fierce protector. I decree landslides of blessings and a release of apolstoic grace to rest upon Meghan, as she equips the body of Christ. Amen.

Finally, last but not least: Father, May Your trustworthiness encircle Allen’s thought process and sharpen his keen spiritual senses. May Your favor burst open the door that has remained hidden and padlocked from view. Thank You, Father that the season of shaking has passed and the season of heavy dew is upon Him now. Allen is saturated with the anointing of the Holy Spirit to go to work. I hear: “Let’s get down to business, son.” He’s arrived.
    Amen:)

I LOVE You, Abba:) Thank You. Glory and praise to You alone.

  3. Oh Meghan,
what a WONDERFUL gift. As soon as I started reading the words you typed, my heart was pricked and the tears began to roll down my cheeks.

    Dr. Mel,
your presence on this team will be missed. I pray that Yah will continue to bless you as move forward into whatever new plans and paths He has for you! Thank you for so steadfastly holding Meghan and D4Y up in prayer.

    Allissa,
As I said before, welcome aboard! May our Heavenly Father bless you and open you eyes, heart, mind, & soul to all He has in store for you, D4Y, and all of the intercessors.

To the rest of the intercessors, it is a pleasure to be amongst you, and for those that have been standing in prayer with me over the last few months, an extra special thank you!

Happy Thanksgiving to you all, May God Bless you all this day and every day!

    Love & Blessings,

    Elaine

  4. @Melijen – Thank you for your precious words 🙂 I’m sure you know the part about the emerald reminds me of the “cleansing gems” word! http://dyed4you.com/blog/2011/09/cleaning-gems/

Having been blessed by Allissa’s musical ministry already, I have a feeling your words will bear witness 😉 And I suspect more than one team member will identify with the other word you gave – praying YES and AMEN for each of the team members the word applies to. May the Father release in the natural the fullness of His promises! Be exalted Oh Lord!!!

Love you so much dear friend, your presence will be very missed, but I know the Father will be richly blessing through you wherever He sends you 🙂

  5. Thank you ALL for such an amazing welcome.

I am SO blessed to be a part of an amazing group – each of you carry something special that the LORD has given you. Each one looks different, but all are blessed and important. When each of us brings the piece they carry to the group, the picture comes into focus.

    @ Melijen
Wow. I am blessed to take a baton that has been passed by you. You are a precious woman of God! What you wrote had me in tears and completely bears witness to me. You do not know this but I play guitar, sing and have various “flutes”. But I have “hung my harps” many times for various reasons. I think this word is another call for me to dust them off and use them again.

About my one petition. Thank you. Right before Meghan posted this I had this hopelessness about that very petition come over me. I knew it was the enemy but it is also hard to keep standing and waiting. This gives me great encouragement!

    A

  6. I SO love Papa’s timing regarding Allissa’s petition as well as how well these precious gifts fit so well with where I am and words given just 2 weeks ago!!!!

Dr Mel, I have been so blessed to be a part of this prayer team and seen how you shake the heavens with your boldness in the Lord. You have been such an encouragement to me as I have seen how clearly you hear the Father, the strength you have and how you have stood in the gap for Meghan and Dyed4You.

Allissa, congrats! I am excited to see how the Lord will transition our prayer team.

I know personally that I feel like it is time to “step up to the plate.” (My favorite sport is baseball, so that’s how He’s speaking to me.) New levels! One thing that stands out for me is part of a series of teachings from two weeks ago. That is that God doesn’t look at us for where we are in the moment, right now….but instead sees us for what we will refuse to be in the future. I know, not the way we normally think of things….I normally picture that He knows who I will become….but when I thought about living in the world and in the particular situations I am immersed in….truly it is what I REFUSE to be, or do is what makes me be different and shine like the light He has called me to be.

I love the inheritance, the royalty, the end of one thing moving into the next. The Lord did something really interesting for us two weeks ago. I am on the dance team at church. We were dancing at every service that weekend for a total of 7 services as well as a healing service at the last service. We were wearing purple all weekend. Papa told our leader that we all had to wear something different at the last service–still purple, but one we hadn’t worn yet that weekend. We obediently changed and then He downloaded more things.. We stood in a circle, holding hands, wrapped in a royal purple billow fabric and He said so many of the things that go with Royal Birthright. SO this silk is confirming those words that also confirmed things He was working in my heart that weekend as well. So much of the sermons that weekend were also about our inheritance and to rise up to realize what was ours.

Father, I pray blessings and rewards over Mel as she has served You faithfully and continues to do so in the new realms and places you are taking her. Thank you for increased revelation, clarity and joy in this new season for her. We know that you do not forget her labor of love and know every prayer and declaration she has made on behalf of Meghan, Dyed4You and this prayer team. Thank you for Allissa as she responds to your call and this new place as well..thank you for clear paths and new songs for her as she rejoices in you. Papa, you are so awesome and we praise you!!! In Jesus’ mighty name I pray, Amen.

  7. Thank you, women of God:) I receive your words of encouragement and blessing directly from Father. So much beautiful love here.

    Shalom and blessings,
    Melissa
