I got 11 hours of sleep last night, but it still wasn’t enough – LOL! I’m still tired and more edgy than normal (I had the urge to punch someone twice today… that’s not normal for me). I have a nice quiet evening tonight and tomorrow, but then not again until Sunday – though I’ve left next week more open than normal. Hopefully I’ll be able to finish recouping 😉

Website/PayPal

I feel like it’s time to pull the PayPal integration off my websites. This is a tough one for me because it means a LOT of work. The other issues is what exactly to do, and that’s my prayer… for wisdom.  I feel like one of the reasons Father has shifted things is no an impulse purchase isn’t really possible. People have time to consider if they should be doing it, which actually I WANT. I only want people to purchase if the Father has directed them to. The card via phone/mail check format is forcing folks to slow down and inhibits impulse purchases.

That said, I have (successfully) used Google Checkout to email invoices to a couple customers I had difficulty connecting via phone with or who were out of the country (so I didn’t want to pay to call them!).  I’m debating adding that as a third option.  Essentially, ordering would work the same way it is now or similar to it, but I’d have 3 options – check, card via phone, or email invoice. I’m just not sure on the email invoice for several logistical reasons one in particular could cause issues for me monetarily (it takes a week for me to GET the funds once they’ve been paid, and in the even someone is ordering something I don’t have in stock there have been many times I have to use the money someone has paid with to order materials needed to create it. If it takes a week to get the money that leaves a maximum of 3 weeks to complete the order. In the case of Voi where parts come from New Zealand which takes 2 weeks or more, this could cause some issues).

Changes at MorningStar

Nathan Scott (who was the primary person I had contact with at MFM aside from the admin) has been moved to MorningStar University.  It sounds like the director’s (Tom Hardiman’s) wife (Mary Anne) will be stepping in to pick some of the work up. I am pretty sure this decision was made for financial reasons, though I don’t know for sure. Let’s please cover them in prayer.

Also, they’ve ordained several elders for MFM and it sounds like the elders will be connecting with the rest of us. This is a great idea. Some of you may remember I’ve been feeling pretty disconnected and also discouraged because they have to KNOW me to decide to ordain me (which that’s what God said, that I should be ORDAINED through MorningStar, that’s why I joined MFM in the first place, but then there was no process to follow to do it, it’s more like they just decide who and when). So again, I’m tentatively excited about the idea of getting connected with an elder.

Prayer for Nickol

As most of you know I recently added quill flags to Dyed4you’s offerings. It’s a joint effort with Prophetic Worship Banners in CA, the quills are their proprietary copyrighted design. I send them silk and they construct them.  Well “they” is Nickol 🙂

Nickol just found out she is pregnant with child #6 and she homeschools (all of them I think).  She will actually take a break for a season, and quills won’t be available during that time – which is fine. I believe Prophetic Worship Banners is more of a part time effort (I’m judging this both based off her pricing, level of other activities, and comments she’s made), but she gets the opportunity to minister and teach with flags along the west coast – which is awesome.

I share all that simply to ask for prayer covering my relationship with her as well as prayer for her in general. I like covering those that I consider an extension of D4Y.
