A few quick things – first below I have shared a video that I created for the gift recipients of the original birthing silk – it gives the history of the silk.  They will get to see the video when they’re presented with their silks and then they will select our giveaway winners and pray for them – and maybe prophesy over them – on video (we hope they don’t mind, we’ll find out!). Prayer covering this whole thing appreciated – it’s happening on the 29th.

Music?!

Forgive me, this part is a little long, but rather than have you feel like it’s coming out of left field, I want to give you the prophetic history of this.

Some of you may know I have been taking piano (and voice) lessons for a couple years now. I know I’m preparing for prophetic flow. I had a word from Richard Knight (some may be familiar with him) on 11 April 2004:

To start off you need to get a keyboard, you need to prophesy, you’re a psalmist a prophetess.

This was startling for a number of reasons: first, I had failed miserably in attempts to learn to play as a child and second, Father had put me on an “audience of One” with singing back in the 1990s.  I’d become so MUCH of a worshiper I now no longer had any desire to sing in front of anyone but Him.

In summer 2009, I hear Him say He was taking me off audience of One. I didn’t believe it was Him – LOL – I think largely because truly I didn’t want to hear it.  I was at a church where everyone on worship was young and fit and I did NOT fit that mold and on top of that there was a VERY high level of excellence and in my wildest dreams I didn’t think I could measure up.  So I put up a fleece (in the end it ended up being 3 total).

Fleece #1 – Have a pastor turn around in a service and tell me I should be on worship team.

Of course, I meant a Destiny pastor (my then church home), but it wasn’t what I asked so one evening when Allen and I were visiting Greater Glory Church the lead pastor turned around after worship and exclaimed, “You have a beautiful voice! Are you on worship team at your church? Because if your not, you should be!”

God that wasn’t what I meant!

Fleece #2 – God, I meant someone from Destiny!

Again, I should have specified pastor again, but didn’t so within a week or so after worship one Saturday a young lady in her mid-20s turned around and said, “You should be up there (nods to stage). You sound great! I mean really, really good!”

God that’s not what I meant!

Fleece #3 – God, I meant a Stern!

Jim Stern (my then pastor) is the eldest of 10 children all of whom are incredibly gifted musically which is part of why the bar is set so high.  The six oldest Sterns were on worship and my pastor and the oldest of his younger brothers (Will) ran worship at the time.  Again, I should have been more specific because I meant Jim or Will, but a couple weeks later Chrissy Stern (#9 of the 10 children who was 12 years old at the time I believe) direct messaged me on Twitter very randomly and said, “I heard you singing. You have a really nice voice!”

It actually took me a while to even catch God had called my fleece because it was so not how I meant it, but after these 3, how could I continue ignoring?

Then in August 2009, the Father told me to learn to play piano to prepare for late night devotional set (in a prayer room setting) – I mentioned this once before.  As I continued to pray about this over the last 2 years I also sensed that I would likely make some downloads available for folks who are spontaneous worship flow junkies (like me) – LOL 🙂

I’ve shared very rough recordings over the last two years with safe people who were called to encourage me.  I’ve even snuck my recordings into the background of videos on the Dyed4you blog and once posted one that wasn’t even subtle!

Anyhow, as many of you know I sometimes struggle with doing things that I don’t feel like are my strengths, and this is one of those areas… and yet I know I’m called.  There’s been increasing nudges recently at our new church, so much so that I actually am attending the worship rehearsals even though I am not actually on a set yet.

All that build up is leading to this word I received from DrMel last night. Let me preface this by saying what I just lay out for you she did not know. She was aware of some pieces, but not the blow-by-blow I just gave you.  Here’s a transcription of what she sent:

Hey Meghan, I want to share with you something I feel the Lord is calling me to release with you and I am recording it this was so you can share as led to others as well. …

I saw branches of Dyed4you and I heard the Lord say that He was releasing the branch of music – Dyed4you music ministry. Where there will be prophetic songs for downloads.

I see He’s doing a birthing with the instruments and the music. Whatever He’s doing I feel like this branch is going to be so heavily anointed that instead of people jumping up to get the fruit the weight of it bends that branch down so far that people are able to reach up so easily to receive and be fed by it.

And it is such a BEAUTIFUL anointed branch of the ministry that He is birthing in you and through you.  I release that to you in the name Yeshua Ha’Mashiach (Jesus the Messiah), the Anointed One, Messiah Yeshua.

And I thank You Father for everyone who is going to be a part of this vision and this music ministry Father and I’m so honored to be the vessel that You have spoken this word through. Father I ask for confirmation from two other sources Father and that only Your truth would bear witness, that this is a true word of the Lord. Amen.

Then today as I was pondering this word (like literally at the MOMENT I was looking at the email and thinking about it), I received an email from Kim O a portion of which said:

So this morning I was praying through my D4Y prayer list (yep that is right I keep a prayer checklist for D4Y… :), and I felt the Lord moving me to pray for preparation. For what I have no clue or idea, I asked and He said “Trust me”. So I am praying for preparation!

Immediately I knew this was confirmation #1.  And as I was considering this confirmation and again feeling TOTALLY freaked out because I do NOT feel ready for this, I found a word I was sent by a D4Y customer I don’t really know on 1/6/12

Here is the clearest part…. from last night: New Dimension

New Dimension in your ministry. This I speak over you in the Name of Lord Jesus.

Enlarged borders, flowing borders, increased and flowing (this I’m hearing now), beautiful flowing borders, like a river spreading. Nations. South America. Words in Spanish and Portuguese and French.

Last night I also had a sense of Dyeing teams and a worship garment ministry involvement. But, that several (maybe 3?) garment ministries would court you, but the one that would be right would be after and would be the one that allowed you to maintain control (which is really His) over your schedule.

The new dimension felt like it might be another confirmation, but I don’t want to be reaching here.  In her email it was very clear that was the loudest part of what she got.  Even when I received this (which was before DrMel’s word), I felt like the “new dimension” didn’t refer to the garment portion.

Anyhow, last piece (thank you for bearing with me) is a word from KC-IHOP on 5 April 2008. This was the muddiest part of the words I received there that day, but for some reason it keeps coming to mind as being related so I’m giving you this piece too. If you aren’t familiar with the way they do ministry, just know this is a complete stranger named Nance. First is the word she gave me and the second was from her to Allen (my hubby) that again feels potentially related.

Meghan, the feeling I had for you is that you are a multi-talented person. There are many aspects and sometimes being multi-talented can seem like not much of a blessing.

You catch it on so many frequencies at the same time, but I just want to reassure you that the Lord has wired you well. He knew what He was doing.

I see Him taking you, the diamond that you are, I can see Him taking His jewelers tool and cutting the fissures. Cutting so that those faces just gleam. Each one being a different talent and expression of His glory that you have.

Inside that, I see that the fissures of this diamond, the lattice work of this diamond. There is tension between the different faces of the diamond. I see that sometimes the tension that lies between the different talents sometimes gets a little hard to handle, or a little frustrating.

I see the Lord, as you’re taking this jewel and laying it down before Him, He is… the word I hear is “butter”… He’s making it as smooth as butter for you. To flow in and out of every talent and everything that He has wired you for. I see Him even within that rest, giving you a capacity to hear Him on all the different levels that you know that you can. Simultaneously.

And Allen’s portion:

Allen, I want to encourage you in the arts. To encourage you in every format of worship that is available to you. I just think of you, and think this guy is going to explode!

There is so much of Gods presence and I just sense that the ideas He gives you and the life of God. Like Enoch, he’s going to “poof” and he’s gone and “where is Allen?” “He’s gone to be with Jesus!”

I see this, and I asked the Lord, I can’t just give him this, I can’t just give him an application. So I sense that this application is that anchoring in the eternal realm of God and going ahead, like doing backhand springs in the spirit and just go for it! Just busting out in the spirit. and then by the direction of the Lord selecting those that you will impart too, that will receive that same infectious joyful creative life of God. and be expressions out through you.

I see this like you are a mighty cell in the body of Christ and the life of God just inoculating, invigorating, and quickening those around you. Especially those that are gifted in the arts. That are going to express in ways that no one else can.

So anyhow I submit all this to you all for your prayer and prophetic insights… and prayer… and insights. Um, and prayer. LOL 🙂
