D4Y Prayer Covering

During a recent phone call with Meghan, I had a picture/sense that I would like to share. It was of a football team who had all huddled together and figured out which positions each person was going to play. Different plays were scratched out with the x’s and o’s and scrimmage plays were run. Now the team is on the sidelines ready for the game to start. There is excitement in the air and everyone is ready to get in the game! Yay team!

The team represents the Dyed4you prayer team and we have been gearing up together and getting our shields locked and ready and now I feel it is time to refocus on covering Meghan, Allen and Dyed4you in prayer. The interaction between all of us is important, but a key value of that lies in covering Dyed4you Ministries in prayer so forward progress can be made. I am excited for continuing to work together as a team towards a common goal!

Meghan has realized that as the ministry has increased so has her need to delegate, so this puts the responsibility to raise prayer points and encourage one another in prayer on us – the post that Kim O put in the FB group this week is a great example! If during your prayer time for D4Y, the LORD puts sales on your heart, take a moment and share that with the team so we all can agree in prayer (you can write out a prayer, but you do NOT have to, a simple prayer point is fine too).

Another example, is if one team member posts a prayer request for healing (for example, Meghan’s post about the migraine), as we post our agreements in prayer, it would be great if someone also reminded us to pray for healing for anyone else in the D4Y community struggling with the same thing or for healing in general. Make sense? No rules, just some idea of how we can both interact among ourselves and also be covering the ministry and the community that supports it.

Another point that came up as Meghan and I talked, was the use of the blog vs. FB. The reality is we all interact more on FB than the blog. So, we’ve decided that vision casting updates or anything else Meghan feels strongly about documenting for future reference will go in the blog, but quick hits and day-to-day requests will go in FB. As a matter of fact Meghan has asked that if any of us talk to her on the phone, feel free to post any requests based off that conversation. In other words, if she sounds stressed and needs rest, post in FB a prayer request along those lines 🙂

With that said, here’s some things that could use some prayerful attention – and these are things I could’ve posted in FB, but since we’re here… 🙂

  • Meghan’s sleep schedule – she’s working on switching to days before her trip to visit Amanda.
  • LOTS going on and very busy, let’s pray for Meghan to get some down time and more importantly be getting her God-time
  • Meghan has a fast planned for when she gets back from OH, let’s cover her in prayer now. She’s fasting for breakthrough in her health, I know we all want to be in agreement with that 🙂
  • The “leveling-up” that’s happening in the ministry is tangible. I felt it when I visited and am excited as it continues and spreads to each of us as well. Let’s continue to cover this in prayer.
  • The 4 in Dyed4you is because it is the number of creative works, and recently that number/theme has been coming up and so let’s be praying for more creative miracles associated with silks because inherent in the fact that they ARE a Dyed4you silk, let’s have an expectation of creative miracles with each and every one. He is a BIG God!

Thanks to all of you for your prayers for the ministry, it’s an honor to lock shields with you. I am very excited for this season that I believe has already begun 🙂

  1. Thank you SO much for this Allissa! It’s an amazing thing to feel the Father growing D4Y at the rate He is and it would NOT be possible without all of you guys!!!

On the prayers… amen, amen, amen, amen, and amen! Obviously my schedule switch is all over the board since I’m posting at 3am, but on the days I’ve been up early I am exhausted all day!!! I hate feeling so flustered and discombobulated! And on the busyness, today is a great example, up at 11 and non-stop until now when I will collapse in a moment. So again… thank you for the prayers 🙂

    You guys are amazing!

  3. Tonia shared this with me today and since we’re praying for creative works I wanted to share it 🙂
    ——-

So as I was praying earlier, I saw the Lord and he was smiling.  His hands were cupped, one over the other, in front of Him.  Light was emanating from between His hands, almost like He was holding a sphere of light that was shining.  I asked what He was doing, and He replied, “Creating.”  So that brought up question in me, and He asked did I really know what “creating” meant.  So I looked it up….since I was sure I was missing something.

CREATING, ppr. Forming from nothing; originating; producing; giving a new character; constituting new beings from matter by shaping, organizing and investing with new properties; forming anew.  (from 1828 dictionary)

He was praying and creating as I interceded.  Know that He is creating in you and around you.  It was like He was making all the connections to your past, present, future….the folks you will meet, events, God encounters, etc…..

  4. LOVE what Tonia shared (via Meghan).

Creative works have been in my heart and mind lately. I love the vision! And so like God to say “oh nothing much just creating.” That blesses me so much and makes me smile 🙂 as does the word! Ahhh!

Love it! I will be praying He keeps creating!

  5. I love the creation share. Amazing!! I don’t think I’ve ever really considered what creating or creation is? Marvelous!! That is mind changing! Moving forward!! Yes, Lord!! 🙂
