What an exciting (and busy) time it’s been to be in the midst of my first set of fall feasts!  I confess I am thoroughly enjoying it – today we got to have a BBQ at the campground where we’ll be celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) from 10/11-10/20.  Not having camped in 23 years (and having been well over 100lbs lighter last time I did) I have been fighting concerns – seeing the grounds today definitely helped (whew!) and I got to test my wifi access so I know for certain I’ll have internet (hooray!). I plan to check emails every couple days.

All that said, prayers for me to be able to balance D4Y responsibilities without allowing myself to miss the purpose of why I’m celebrating the feast would be appreciated. My plan it to try to get anything that was ordered before the 5th completed sent off before I leave on the 11th.  The only problem would be if someone ordered an expedited silk during the first 5 days I’m there.  Given that the LORD made the way for us to be there (including a scholarship to cover expenses, someone to loan us hundreds of dollars worth of equipment so we had to get very little, and even my period came a week early which NEVER happens but means I’ll be done by the time we camp), I’m trusting He has this detail covered too 😉

Marcus update

My stepson is continuing to stay with us. And we’ve DEFINITELY encountered some serious warfare this week.  I believe he’ll be staying at my mother-in-law’s while we’re gone.  Please continue to pray for protection of our home and breakthrough for him (especially spiritually). Also for wisdom and strength for Allen as he leads our home – particularly in the midst of this difficult moment.

Some of you may remember what happened when I tried to open a separate PayPal account for D4Ymin. The short version is they locked down the account almost a year ago because they wanted proof I was a 501c3 even though I told them I was not and as of today they STILL have not unlocked that account. Well, yesterday they locked down my main PayPal account that is the one ALL payments on D4Y, D4Yart and D4Yphoto come through. No idea what triggered this yet, but it starts slow so the only lost functionality I’ve lost is that I can’t close the account (which I don’t intend to do), but after a month they’ll stop letting me withdraw funds which is a HUGE issue since this is the account we LIVE out of.  And one of the things they’ve asked for is proof I’m a 501c3… so it feels like deja vu. Now realize I’m going crazy prepping for Sukkot the next week and then gone celebrating it for 10 days… so there goes the bulk of the month.

Please pray for PEACE for me. I am not one who struggles with fear and anxiety much, but I am really struggling on this one. Also please pray for FAVOR with PayPal, WISDOM for me to know how to fix this, and that this situation would be fixed without major incident… also pray that if God is allowing all this to happen to shift me for some reason that I would see that and embrace it without resentment or fear. I trust Him regardless of where He is leading!!!

Major Praise

I’d planned to do this update yesterday during the day, but waited because it was Sabbath. And I’d planned to share with you about the fact that MO Dept of Revenue was suing us for back taxes from 2008 (the year I lost my job and liquidated my 401K to live on thus owing more taxes) and I’d planned to ask for your prayers for it’s resolution.

Well, last night at church our pastor opened the altar for anyone who needed a major financial breakthrough to come up and receive prayer.  Little did we know the Lord had told the pastor an amount He wanted him to give away being the personal practical hands on help to his congregation (my pastor has his own financial issues, so this was done from a place of sacrifice not overflow). Anyhow, the Lord had him meet our need and he cut us a check to pay for the taxes we owe the state!  It’s more than what we live on for a MONTH!!!  How awesome is our God?!?! 🙂
