Gratefully, I am feeling rested up finally! Thank you for your prayers 🙂 Very very appreciated!
I know they say that imitation is the highest form of praise, but I have to be honest (and I believe I’ve shared this before), I STRUGGLE when people decide they’re going to go off and try to do what I do. I don’t know what exactly is attached to it, but it is awkward and sometimes hurts when they come to me all excited and wanting my prayers, blessing and support – in particular when *I* haven’t heard anything from the Father on it.
Logically I KNOW I can’t create as many silks as the body of Christ needs and I know the Father is my provider, so losing one customer shouldn’t be an issue, but… somehow I feel robbed. I feel like this is triggering a deeper wound for me so if you get any revelation during prayer, I’m open to hearing it. In the meanwhile, prayer for healing for my heart, prayer for Brenda (the newest person trying her hand at this), and prayer for wisdom for us both appreciated.
Websites
On a lighter note, I plan to pull PayPal integration off my sites over the next few weeks. I am following Tonia’s suggestion and allowing the Google Invoice option, but letting them know it may add a week to the creation time. In the FAQs section I’ll address why.
I’m also hoping to finally wrap up the new Scent of Heaven site in the next few weeks. It’s been almost done for the better part of a year. I have a date with Carol next Thursday to try to do the last few things. Prayers for smooth transition on BOTH websites is appreciated!
Ministry
More and more I’m understanding why the Father pulled PayPal out of the picture, some awesome ministry happens during the calls when people are giving their card numbers over the phone. Here’s an example:
Eight weeks ago I had someone see a picture of a silk I posted on Facebook. She saw a baby in a womb in the design of the dye. When she called me to give me her card info I found out she’s had a LOT of issues getting pregnant (and staying pregnant). As I prayed for her on the phone I felt the presence of the Lord.
When she received the silk she was confused because the image she’d seen she found on the silk in 2 places. I explained that I dye the silks folded in half which is why there were two “babies”. Well, yesterday she called me to let me know she found out she is EIGHT weeks pregnant with TWINS!!! He literally did it basically to the moment. That call wouldn’t have happened if I’d still had PayPal 🙂
Please pray for a healthy, full-term pregnancy. She plans to take a picture of the twins wrapped in the silk for her scarf story when they’re born :*)
And the ministry goes both ways! This is a blurb from a customer who doesn’t know me at all – I believe it’s right on and ask for your prayers for me over it:
I pray over you refreshment and joy as you press through in this next place. He is so in you and therefore, He is so in your circumstances. I speak to the spirits of slumber and exhaustion and bind them and their power over your mind and heart.
I praise you Lord for Your heart for Miss Meghan and ask for Your clarity and supernatural discernment to do only those things that You would have her to do, and to have the courage to lay down those things that You desire her to lay down.
Lord, Papa, Thank You that you love us and thank you that you’ve created us for a purpose. Please reiterate that to Miss Meghan and speak in the sweet raindrops about her future.
Miss Meghan, like raindrops on a bright summer day, the Lord will drop revelation on you. It will be refreshing, exhilarating, and will cause you to be even more alive than you were even a few moments before. This will be a very frequent occurrence and will be shallow at first, but once you “activate” the revelation you will be launched into the deep places in the Lord, and in Heaven. Activate simply implies setting your heart for and preparing for an experience. Your experiences of Him will be compounded – to the fourth power.

2nd Your call with the lady seeing the silk, wanting to have a child..brought tears to my eyes. I stopped and prayed for her right then. Wow Papa is giving her twins, just as placed in your silk. Papa, I pray for a covering of protection around her and her babies. I ask that you give her the strength it will take to care for her babies (your children) to full term. How we love you Lord!! You amaze me every day. I pray this is Jesus name, Amen
You are always in my thoughts and Prayers. I see that God is moving and new doors are opening. I love how Papa is having you speak to the customers for orders. God is SO Goood ALL the time.
Quick clarification (sent via email):
Since there has been a little confusion about my comments about the woman who is starting to dye, I wanted to give some more clarifying info so you can pray accurately. It is NOT that I want to hold on to the gifting He’s given and not share it. It’s that I want to properly steward what He’s given me.
I have trained others (or simply released them with my blessing) to dye and continue to do so – the key is as HE leads and as HE blesses (for example you all know I have been training Amanda E). I feel VERY strongly about not being competitive within the body and about raising up others. Teaching is one of my giftings, and so I do so with joy and love when He directs me to. Here’s where I have problem, when someone contacts me and tells me they’ve already begun to basically copy what I do and they tell me God told them to do it, it feels funky to me – for a lot of reasons. Especially when they’re asking for my blessing. How can I give it when I don’t know if it’s what the Father has blessed? In these situations I feel stolen from – this is the situation I’m in now which is why I was asking for prayer.
There have been others who came to me respectfully and said “Hey I know I’ve ordered from you in the past, but I feel the Father calling me to start doing this” and I’ve FELT His blessing on it and blessed them and released them into it – this shows respect for the one God anointed who has inspired it, which is an honor thing. And it’s not that I SEEK honor, it’s that that is how the Father works.
But those who come to me and announce that they have ALREADY gone and started doing it and now want me to bless it… again, just hits me funky. Typically in the past I’ve discovered via discussion the decision was made because of financial reasons – basically they decide it’s cheaper to do it themselves, which shows a complete lack of understanding for the anointing and the fact that God CALLS people to do specific things and when you function outside that, you aren’t walking in His will.

I’m with Tami about the lady and her Babies… that’s an amazing story. I have just started doing home visits… where we go to peoples house and pray over them there. It is a much greater feeling. I’m excited that you get to speak to people now and the testimonies are gunna be great… just like this one. Awesome!!! Gets me all excited.

Praying – Father bless and minister to Brenda. May Your will be done in her life. Show her what is for her and what is not. Keep her in Your path, make it very clear to her with your light and life. And as with her Father, forgive us all for each time we have trod on others and hurt them, for the intentional and the unintentional. Bring healing to each hurt and pain. I cry out for mercy for all involved. I cry out for amnesty and not judgement. Father You told Moses, when he cried out to see your glory…the weightiest thing about You, that it was Your Mercy. Let us be full of your mercy.
Lord I thank you for Scent of Heaven and Carol. Bless her Father. Bless Meghan and Carol to complete the task, no more delay. Let the site be as You desire and bring in the customers that you have for Carol.
Father fill Meghan up each day, so that she can pour out as You direct. Thank you Lord for the excellent testimony and for blessing the lady and the twins. Thank you Lord for speaking into Meghan’s life by her customers and vice versa. Where there has been mourning, let there be joy. Praise You Lord, praise Your holy sweet Name.

The imitation had the feeling of “what you make is not good enough so I’m going to make my own… but I want you to pray for me and bless me for taking your ideas and trying to replicate your anointing.”
In the Kingdom we do need to honor.
LOVE love love the post about the babies! I read it and it made my entire day. It was a great confirmation that what we do DOES have power. God DOES do things on our behalf when we are obedient and follow Him. Thank you LORD for providing for this woman and for sharing an amazing piece of who You are and what You do for us!!
