Shabbat (sabbath) is fast approaching so some quick things before I disappear for 24 hours. First off our next call is THIS Sunday at 8pm CST.  You’ll dial in to 1-218-936-4700 and the code is 6367525. I am planning to record it again only because so far folks are using the recordings, we’ll probably talk about whether we want to record them going forward.

FYI I have no agenda for this call, just a few vague ideas. It’s mainly just so we can connect and talk and pray. Part of what we can talk about is what we’d like to see happen in our calls, I want them to be a good use of all of our time 🙂

Team update

Judy C has stepped down (This means there are now 10 plus Allen and I). She actually was willing to step up, but as we both prayed about it we felt like she was not supposed to (God is birthing a new thing through her and wants her focus there even though she LOVES D4Y and liked feeling connected). Tonia’s word during the call about “not adding new voices” was also a confirmation because even though she was “on” the team she hadn’t been actively interacting so she in essence would have been a “new” voice.  I pray the Father’s richest blessings on her and this new work. May He multiply back to her what has been sown here 🙂

PFT

FYI on my connections with my church. This week my pastor asked me to accept 2 positions on 2 different key boards within Passion for Truth (PFT). One I saw coming (advisory counsel). The other I didn’t (financial). Father cleared me to accept both positions of leadership.  If you feel led to cover me in pray and pray for protection it is appreciated.  PFT seems to encounter an enormous amount of warfare (thus the continual attacks on my health since I arrived there and began helping lead in prayer), so being in these 2 new leadership positions I want to be mindful to walk wisely.

New Thing!

You may be aware that I have had some folks helping write scarf letters with me as the Father has directed. In the same way He has me shifting and formalizing things within the Prayer Team, He also is leading me to do the same with this other group as well.  So we now officially have the D4Y Prophetic Team. Amanda has accepted the position of leadership. Also on the team are Allissa, Kim, Tonia and Christine. The purpose of the team continues to be the creation of the scarf letters 🙂

Though at the moment the team is comprised of a subset of the prayer team, I felt the Father tell me it will not always be the case (which is part of why it needed to be formalized as a separate entity). I have asked people to participate at the Father’s direction – if you feel like this is something you’d like to be part of in the future I am open to hearing that and taking it under prayerful consideration, just shoot me an email.  Let me know if you have any questions about this new group – and we can also talk about it more during the call Sunday if you’d like!

Guests/Travel

Houseguest(s) prayer request!  Allissa will be here 2/16-2/21 and a gentleman friend of hers will be visiting as well (sleeping at an apartment of some guys from my church, but with us when we’re awake). Grace, grace, fun and more grace 🙂

Travel prayer request! I will be (hopefully) going to OH in early March – last long distant trip I took the car broke down so prayers appreciated – LOL!  Also she has a cat (which I’m allergic to) and lots of scents (which I have issues with) so pray for grace all around!!!  Her hubby wasn’t up for letting her make the trip here again so soon but we felt like Father was saying it was time for a visit so I’m gonna try going there and we’re praying it goes well 🙂

Schedule

Finally, sleep and rest prayer requests. My schedule is still upside down and will stay that way until Allissa leaves, but Amanda is on VERY much a morning schedule so I need to try flipping it back as soon as Allissa leaves – please pray, we all know I LOVE my late nights!

Also things just seems to be busier, I need to find more effective ways of getting things done or get better at off-loading because I can tell I’m not getting the down-time I need.
