Not-for-Profit/PayPal & Sukkot

I’m sending out an SOS because I am on the messy side – so be forewarned!

It’s now a little less than 36 hrs away from when we leave for Sukkot and there’s still lots left to do. Praise report, everything that came in before Friday is done and shipped.  So that’s good, what’s difficult is I’ve had like 5 or 6 orders come in since then, and frankly I’d hoped to leave with a largely clean slate. But, I trust the Lord knows what He is doing. Continue reading

Sukkot, PayPal, Praise & More

What an exciting (and busy) time it’s been to be in the midst of my first set of fall feasts!  I confess I am thoroughly enjoying it – today we got to have a BBQ at the campground where we’ll be celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) from 10/11-10/20.  Not having camped in 23 years (and having been well over 100lbs lighter last time I did) I have been fighting concerns – seeing the grounds today definitely helped (whew!) and I got to test my wifi access so I know for certain I’ll have internet (hooray!). I plan to check emails every couple days. Continue reading

Launching D4Yphoto

Just a quick note to let you know the Dyed4you Photo website is complete!  Just finished it early this morning and overall I am really pleased (there’s a black area below the header on the pages – in other words everywhere but in customer photos – that needs to shrink. Please pray I can find where that needs to happen in the code!  Several hours of no success so far on that.) If you find typos or whatever (Which Donelda, I’m sure you will), just drop me an email!  Continue reading

Walking Through My Past

Since it’s been a week and since my last update was pretty raw, I figured an update was in order.  My apologies because I meant to do this a few days ago, but have been holed up (not in a bad way).

I finally met the Lord head on and quit avoiding Him with what He was digging at, so it’s been a productive week (the blog I just posted attests to that).  The Lord told me to go back and read all my journals, in order.  There’s 19 handwritten journals starting in 1987 going up through 2007ish. In 2004ish I started doing some journaling electronically so I’m coming back to those (I have about 1000 electronic entries, so it’s no small task).  I also have a 300+ page book I compiled of journal entries/words spanning the bulk of my marriage testimony. NSB Visit, MFM, & D4Yphoto

The Lord put on our team member Christina’s heart to take a road trip to North Star Books to bless Donelda and pray over what God is doing there and release His word.  It was SO hard for me not to blow the secret when Christina officially got approved for the time off for her road trip!  And what a divine encounter it was!!!  Donelda shared the big take-away and I believe it is a word for ALL of us: Continue reading

Sales, Me, SoH, Etc.

Let me start by apologizing because this may be a longer update than I’ve been trying to make them!

Well, after having such a stellar quarter last quarter, it was a bit disappointing to finish this quarter with sales down about 30% (Dyed4you Art was down about 70%). However, it was a few dollars over the bare minimum I need to bring in gross to cover expenses – so I’m very grateful for that despite losing the extra margin. Continue reading

Sleep, Terminology, & Prayer for Tami

I’m sending an update because I know I need to, but I should warn y’all by saying I feel pretty raw. Please don’t feel like you need to cheer me up!!!  Prayer is truly all I need and at the moment attempts to “cheer me up” just feel like salt in wounds.

You may remember I last mentioned one of the first things we’re addressing with my weight is my sleep schedule and getting it earlier. I know this may sound silly but I MISS my nights. There’s a feeling I get there I get no other time of day. I trust in time that the Lord will give it to me in other times of day but at the moment I just feel completely out of whack. I work best with patterns, so when a wrench gets thrown in my pattern it messes with me. I know I’m working on setting new patterns, but in the meantime, I’m a bit of a mess. Continue reading
