Thank you all for your continued prayers even with a lack of updates. Several of you have pinged me to let me know I’m still very much in thought and prayer and it has been GREATLY appreciated! We had a fun but overwhelming new years with my family (23 people – 11 staying in the house we were at). Then when we left to come home we were 40 minutes into the 12 hr drive and the car acted up and we had to turn around and go back!
Despite a few humbling moments – at the end of it all they never could duplicate the problem, but we got 3 recalls and 2 needed repairs done and left the next day. And God supplied someone to pay about two-thirds of the total cost! He is SO faithful 🙂 Continue reading
PayPal, Possible Covering, and Ascend Scarves
I realized it’s been a little longer than normal since my last update – so I wanted to shoot one out to you 🙂
I have to say this holiday season has been rather uneventful. I think I may have over prepared because I’m actually dyeing LESS recently because I had so many ready and on hand. I thought for a bit that it’s because sales weren’t doing well, but when I checked the numbers they weren’t bad at all and as of right now I’m up about 10% gross sales this quarter over last quarter. Which is good! I’m about 70% of the way to where I need to be at a minimum to be covering expenses for me to be full-time. Continue reading
Boutique Update
Just wanted to shoot off a quick boutique update since you guys were praying and so many of you touched base today to encourage me – let me say it was VERY appreciated!
When the rain started at 2pm today I started praying, but by 3:30 (beginning of the set-up time) it was POURING. I got drenched bringing stuff in (thus the frizzy hair in my picture), but praise God managed to get the scarves and art in keeping them relatively dry – which was my main concern. Continue reading

Prayer for Caleb & Updates
Greeting ladies! My first request today is for Caleb Brundidge who as you know from previous posts consigns my silk when he travels. Yesterday I got comments on 3 of the videos I have posted of him on YouTube and found more comments on some of his videos he had posted as well. I reported these and deleted them but I wanted you to get a feel for the flavor of the hate in them. Below is one of the ones that had less profanity, I apologize for the graphic nature:

Praise Reports & Hormones
First let me apologize because I should have posted an update last week – if only to let you know how the weekend went since you all were praying. So let me start by saying that in general the weekend went well in the sense that I (who really don’t like playing the hostess) was very calm and at ease the bulk of the weekend, which is HUGE for me and I KNOW is a direct answer to your prayers. So thank you 🙂

Outreach, Art and a Visit

Updates
A couple updates since last week, first is that I have finally made a decision on the outreach/ground-staking thing (which is what I have continually asked for wisdom on). I’m about 98% sure I am to lay it on the altar and walk away. JI (my partner) has not demonstrated that he is in a good place with the Lord and I need wisdom to know how much God wants me to say to him about how his character has impacted my decision. I want him to feel my love, not attacked – yet I feel he needs to hear truth, but I want God to keep this amiable if at all possible. Please pray for protection over my reputation. Continue reading
Praise, Finances, Holidays, & Wisdom
Let me start with some praise reports 🙂
- My hubby’s (Allen’s) level of peace with where God has him right now has SIGNIFICANTLY increased! I can only account that to prayer – so thank you for your willingness to cover him as it definitely impacts me. God’s been giving him very specific insight on things he does that negatively impact me and he’s been specifically working on addressing those – all without me saying a word. Praise God!
- My level of peace has also increased. This is SUCH a blessing! He’s been allowing me to get more work done in less time. So awesome – especially since this has left time for things like more fellow-shipping with Him 😉
