Well, after having such a stellar quarter last quarter, it was a bit disappointing to finish this quarter with sales down about 30% (Dyed4you Art was down about 70%). However, it was a few dollars over the bare minimum I need to bring in gross to cover expenses – so I’m very grateful for that despite losing the extra margin. Continue reading
I’m sending an update because I know I need to, but I should warn y’all by saying I feel pretty raw. Please don’t feel like you need to cheer me up!!! Prayer is truly all I need and at the moment attempts to “cheer me up” just feel like salt in wounds.
You may remember I last mentioned one of the first things we’re addressing with my weight is my sleep schedule and getting it earlier. I know this may sound silly but I MISS my nights. There’s a feeling I get there I get no other time of day. I trust in time that the Lord will give it to me in other times of day but at the moment I just feel completely out of whack. I work best with patterns, so when a wrench gets thrown in my pattern it messes with me. I know I’m working on setting new patterns, but in the meantime, I’m a bit of a mess. Continue reading
The good news is I am ALL caught up!!! As of today I am all caught up with only a handful of orders here all of which arrived in the last week. PRAISE GOD!!! Allen literally took a bundle of 40-50 packages to the Post Office yesterday, but it took care of the bulk of them. I had 1 last one that went today, it was a high dollar order that I poked a hole through one of the matching wing/flags as I went to demo it (here’s video after the hole poking). Continue reading
This is just a quick request for prayer. I’ve been working for about 4.5 hours straight now trying to make a dent in catching up. I think I’ve cried twice so far and am on the verge again. The good news is sales on Monday and Tuesday were very good, which shouldn’t surprise me because bills came in Tuesday and the sales pretty much covered them! I’m grateful though I confess I still long for a bit more wiggle room, but He knows best 😉
Second good news, is I’m pretty well rested and recovered. The not so good news (and first prayer request) is that I have a bunch of D4Y stuff that needs tending to but it all feels a bit overwhelming and I’m not entirely sure where I am on some things. :/ So please pray for grace and wisdom to pick everything back up and get caught up in relatively short order! First off, I am STILL dealing with sinus stuff!!! I think what happened is allergies hit after I got the sinus infection and keeps it from healing…?
