Well, after having such a stellar quarter last quarter, it was a bit disappointing to finish this quarter with sales down about 30% (Dyed4you Art was down about 70%). However, it was a few dollars over the bare minimum I need to bring in gross to cover expenses – so I’m very grateful for that despite losing the extra margin. Continue reading
Lots of things to update you all on. First off, my hubby made it home from Haiti – YAY!!! What was emphasized to me while he was gone is that there is NO WAY I could do this ministry without him. There are vital pieces that he takes care of and without him I was running around crazy trying to be both of us. I realized it’s been a little longer than normal since my last update – so I wanted to shoot one out to you 🙂
I have to say this holiday season has been rather uneventful. I think I may have over prepared because I’m actually dyeing LESS recently because I had so many ready and on hand. I thought for a bit that it’s because sales weren’t doing well, but when I checked the numbers they weren’t bad at all and as of right now I’m up about 10% gross sales this quarter over last quarter. Which is good! I’m about 70% of the way to where I need to be at a minimum to be covering expenses for me to be full-time. Continue reading
