I sent an email to PayPal essentially telling them I’m unable to comply with their request to register as a not-for-profit and asking them to reconsider if there are other options to resolve since nothing illegal was done. I know y’all just heard from me 36 hours ago, but there’s a heaviness in our home right now that is thick and messing with both Allen and I, so I wanted to send out an SOS for prayer! I am not sure the root cause for Allen, but for me some of it stems from frustration over the PayPal thing. I feel like I’m being re-tested in an area I thought I passed a couple years ago. It’s now a little less than 36 hrs away from when we leave for Sukkot and there’s still lots left to do. Praise report, everything that came in before Friday is done and shipped. So that’s good, what’s difficult is I’ve had like 5 or 6 orders come in since then, and frankly I’d hoped to leave with a largely clean slate. But, I trust the Lord knows what He is doing. Well, after having such a stellar quarter last quarter, it was a bit disappointing to finish this quarter with sales down about 30% (Dyed4you Art was down about 70%). However, it was a few dollars over the bare minimum I need to bring in gross to cover expenses – so I’m very grateful for that despite losing the extra margin. Continue reading

First let me apologize because I should have posted an update last week – if only to let you know how the weekend went since you all were praying. So let me start by saying that in general the weekend went well in the sense that I (who really don’t like playing the hostess) was very calm and at ease the bulk of the weekend, which is HUGE for me and I KNOW is a direct answer to your prayers. I was having a conversation last night with Amanda E and she mentioned this heaviness she’s been feeling ever since she was here to visit. It’s so different than how she normally feels that she notices the difference. As she described how it felt it’s something I experience (and Allen) on an ongoing basis.
