The time with Allissa went well – definitely was feeling the prayers! Only had one moment where I got totally “overdone” (as I call it) and Allissa was very gracious with my little snappiness. Let me just tell you, for someone who spends a HUGE portion of their time alone, to have someone with you basically every waking moment, be constantly “doing” and to be burning the candle at both ends – it is completely a miracle I did as well as that. What an exciting (and busy) time it’s been to be in the midst of my first set of fall feasts! I confess I am thoroughly enjoying it – today we got to have a BBQ at the campground where we’ll be celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) from 10/11-10/20. Not having camped in 23 years (and having been well over 100lbs lighter last time I did) I have been fighting concerns – seeing the grounds today definitely helped (whew!) and I got to test my wifi access so I know for certain I’ll have internet (hooray!).
