Friday I watched a teaching by C. Peter Wagner on intercession. The main thing that stuck with me for Dyed4you was that he highly extorted us to not just pray for the minister but also the spouse, ALWAYS.   Many of his suggested guidelines, Meghan is already doing or has set in place (which I thought was pretty cool).  And he really highlighted how vulnerable you make yourself, as a minister, when you allow folks to intercede for you….because you are saying God has my permission to tell them anything about me.  With that in mind, it made me feel very humbled that Meghan has allowed us into her life.  Meghan may we always walk in love and show you love. More on Birthing, & Music?!

A few quick things – first below I have shared a video that I created for the gift recipients of the original birthing silk – it gives the history of the silk.  They will get to see the video when they’re presented with their silks and then they will select our giveaway winners and pray for them – and maybe prophesy over them – on video (we hope they don’t mind, we’ll find out!). As most of you know, the new Scent of Heaven site launched on Thursday. There were some issues, but they were dealt with quickly so all is well 🙂  SO grateful to have that done! Breakthrough on the Horizon

I had a dream the other night that was about me and for me but there was a small section with Allen in it. I thought that was rather strange but it was emphasized to me after I woke up that what I said to Allen in the dream I was to actually tell him.

I believe that there are a number of us in the same season. It is a season I have called ‘Something New, Something Different’. Within this season there has been the idea that there is a ‘New Day Dawning’ and breakthrough and insight and newness.

For this post I am asking for prayers to usher in this New Day, this Something New, Something Different that I feel the Lord has for many of us.

Square/PayPal Update

Just a quick update on all the money stuff. I sent an email to PayPal essentially telling them I’m unable to comply with their request to register as a not-for-profit and asking them to reconsider if there are other options to resolve since nothing illegal was done. I am hoping this will encourage them to give me a different way of resolving this issue. Continue reading →

Something’s (Still) Afoot & Heaviness

I know y’all just heard from me 36 hours ago, but there’s a heaviness in our home right now that is thick and messing with both Allen and I, so I wanted to send out an SOS for prayer!  I am not sure the root cause for Allen, but for me some of it stems from frustration over the PayPal thing. Sukkot, PayPal, Praise & More

What an exciting (and busy) time it’s been to be in the midst of my first set of fall feasts!  I confess I am thoroughly enjoying it – today we got to have a BBQ at the campground where we’ll be celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) from 10/11-10/20.  Not having camped in 23 years (and having been well over 100lbs lighter last time I did) I have been fighting concerns – seeing the grounds today definitely helped (whew!) and I got to test my wifi access so I know for certain I’ll have internet (hooray!). Walking Through My Past

Since it’s been a week and since my last update was pretty raw, I figured an update was in order.  My apologies because I meant to do this a few days ago, but have been holed up (not in a bad way).

I finally met the Lord head on and quit avoiding Him with what He was digging at, so it’s been a productive week (the blog I just posted attests to that).  The Lord told me to go back and read all my journals, in order.  There’s 19 handwritten journals starting in 1987 going up through 2007ish. In 2004ish I started doing some journaling electronically so I’m coming back to those (I have about 1000 electronic entries, so it’s no small task).  I also have a 300+ page book I compiled of journal entries/words spanning the bulk of my marriage testimony.
