During a recent phone call with Meghan, I had a picture/sense that I would like to share. It was of a football team who had all huddled together and figured out which positions each person was going to play. Different plays were scratched out with the x’s and o’s and scrimmage plays were run. Now the team is on the sidelines ready for the game to start. I know they say that imitation is the highest form of praise, but I have to be honest (and I believe I’ve shared this before), I STRUGGLE when people decide they’re going to go off and try to do what I do. I don’t know what exactly is attached to it, but it is awkward and sometimes hurts when they come to me all excited and wanting my prayers, blessing and support – in particular when *I* haven’t heard anything from the Father on it. I got 11 hours of sleep last night, but it still wasn’t enough – LOL! I’m still tired and more edgy than normal (I had the urge to punch someone twice today… that’s not normal for me). I have a nice quiet evening tonight and tomorrow, but then not again until Sunday – though I’ve left next week more open than normal. Hopefully I’ll be able to finish recouping 😉

The time with Allissa went well – definitely was feeling the prayers! Only had one moment where I got totally “overdone” (as I call it) and Allissa was very gracious with my little snappiness. Let me just tell you, for someone who spends a HUGE portion of their time alone, to have someone with you basically every waking moment, be constantly “doing” and to be burning the candle at both ends – it is completely a miracle I did as well as that. What an exciting (and busy) time it’s been to be in the midst of my first set of fall feasts! I confess I am thoroughly enjoying it – today we got to have a BBQ at the campground where we’ll be celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) from 10/11-10/20. Not having camped in 23 years (and having been well over 100lbs lighter last time I did) I have been fighting concerns – seeing the grounds today definitely helped (whew!) and I got to test my wifi access so I know for certain I’ll have internet (hooray!). The good news is I am ALL caught up!!! As of today I am all caught up with only a handful of orders here all of which arrived in the last week. PRAISE GOD!!! Allen literally took a bundle of 40-50 packages to the Post Office yesterday, but it took care of the bulk of them. I had 1 last one that went today, it was a high dollar order that I poked a hole through one of the matching wing/flags as I went to demo it (here’s video after the hole poking). Continue reading
The good news is sales on Monday and Tuesday were very good, which shouldn’t surprise me because bills came in Tuesday and the sales pretty much covered them! I’m grateful though I confess I still long for a bit more wiggle room, but He knows best 😉
Second good news, is I’m pretty well rested and recovered. The not so good news (and first prayer request) is that I have a bunch of D4Y stuff that needs tending to but it all feels a bit overwhelming and I’m not entirely sure where I am on some things. :/ So please pray for grace and wisdom to pick everything back up and get caught up in relatively short order!
