So much to say and not much time to say it so I’m going to attempt to hit a lot briefly – LOL 🙂
First off big praise reports on the Ohio trip. My sleep schedule was fine while I was there, Amanda did an amazing job cleaning and so I was comfortable in her home both scent and allergy wise, and we had a God time. We already know from FB that some of the prayers seemed to go into action right after I left and I ask for continued prayers for her and her household as well as Donelda and hers. During a recent phone call with Meghan, I had a picture/sense that I would like to share. It was of a football team who had all huddled together and figured out which positions each person was going to play. Different plays were scratched out with the x’s and o’s and scrimmage plays were run. Now the team is on the sidelines ready for the game to start. There is excitement in the air and everyone is ready to get in the game! Yay team! Continue reading
Just a quick update on all the money stuff. I sent an email to PayPal essentially telling them I’m unable to comply with their request to register as a not-for-profit and asking them to reconsider if there are other options to resolve since nothing illegal was done. I am hoping this will encourage them to give me a different way of resolving this issue. Continue reading
My apologies it’s taken so long to get an update out to you – with finally be almost 100% ok again all the things that were on hold suddenly required my attention and it’s been a busy week and a half, which has actually resulted in me throat regressing a bit so I have more of a cough and soreness again – but on the whole I’m feeling MUCH better! Since two of you pinged me within 5 minutes of each other, I figured I’d better go ahead and send an update! And please forgive me because this is another raw Meghan-focused post. It is so difficult for me to be honest about this because historically I help everyone else in their messiness, but when I need help either no one is there or willing, or they are too busy one-up’ing me to be helpful. Well, after having such a stellar quarter last quarter, it was a bit disappointing to finish this quarter with sales down about 30% (Dyed4you Art was down about 70%). However, it was a few dollars over the bare minimum I need to bring in gross to cover expenses – so I’m very grateful for that despite losing the extra margin. Continue reading
I’m sending an update because I know I need to, but I should warn y’all by saying I feel pretty raw. Please don’t feel like you need to cheer me up!!! Prayer is truly all I need and at the moment attempts to “cheer me up” just feel like salt in wounds.
You may remember I last mentioned one of the first things we’re addressing with my weight is my sleep schedule and getting it earlier. I know this may sound silly but I MISS my nights. There’s a feeling I get there I get no other time of day. I trust in time that the Lord will give it to me in other times of day but at the moment I just feel completely out of whack. I work best with patterns, so when a wrench gets thrown in my pattern it messes with me. I know I’m working on setting new patterns, but in the meantime, I’m a bit of a mess. Continue reading
The good news is I am ALL caught up!!! As of today I am all caught up with only a handful of orders here all of which arrived in the last week. PRAISE GOD!!! Allen literally took a bundle of 40-50 packages to the Post Office yesterday, but it took care of the bulk of them. I had 1 last one that went today, it was a high dollar order that I poked a hole through one of the matching wing/flags as I went to demo it (here’s video after the hole poking). Continue reading
