Revisiting What God’s Said

Yesterday I wrote a blog on believing the earthly things God tells you. Then I received this note from a long-time D4Y customer.  She attends a church where each woman has been given a scarf (and as new women join, they are given one).  I thought what their pastor shared was a great reminder, so I wanted to pass it along 🙂

One Wednesday night Pastor Ray was telling the ladies and a few of the men that received prayer clothes, that we need to take out the letter and read them over and over again. It was good!!! We had been talking about prophesying over people, a word that someone had spoken over us years back. We need to go back on these.

Just the day before Angie had stopped by my house to have a button sewn back on a shirt of hers. I was telling her that I love to read my letters again and again. It helps me to know what God thinks of me, because I don’t see myself that way. It is a great reminder of where God sees me.

I truly am blessed by the work that you and the Holy spirit do.

I got another note (with the pictures) in February of 2011 with the following comment:

I have been reading my letters from Dyed4you again, it is a wonderful reminder of how God see’s me. It all so tells me where I should be walking with God.

I have been meaning to share with you how I keep my letters from Dyed4you. I all so display many on my bedroom wall, as you have seen. I took these with my cell phone, so they are not the best pictures, but it gives you an idea.

I cut a piece of silk from my prayer throw and placed it with the letters 🙂

What a great reminder that we ALL should treat words we receive with such care!

  1. I love how this church is embracing this ministry God’s given you. What a beautiful blessing not to just for you but each individual as well. I wish my church was small enough to do this.

  2. Thank you. thank you, thank you. Even the posting date is significant to me. I am begining to feel some peace. tm taylor

  3. I totaly love re reading the letter and listening to other words spoken over me. Keeps me encouraged! Way cool testimony and reminder, think I will spend some time reading today.

  4. This is one reason I find this ministry to be so important, too many people have never received a direct word from the Lord. Those that have often don’t know what to do with it especially if they don’t see it materialize. My scarves came so supernaturally to me that I know they have a tremendous significance to my destiny and calling.

  5. So Cool! Just gathered all of my scarf letters yesterday to spread out before the Lord during my next prayer time ..(and then overslept this morning…) I am excited to sit and listen to Him!! Wonderful timing to bump a blogpost up! 🙂
