You saw me demo Shannon’s voi, and now she’s shared video of herself with them. Let me preface this by saying she had spent no more than an hour with voi ever in her entire life – so that alone is astounding to me. Beautiful to watch someone anointed and gifted to move in worship!
Shannon shares her own story:
Banner worship has been a part of my life for 12 years and each year it changes into a deeper understanding in him and worship. This year feels very different from the others. Myself and others around me can feel a transition in life.
My worship this year has been so deep and personal, especially in banners. There has been an intimacy of seeking his face in worship and it isn’t enough. I was wanting something new in banners to show I’m making a proclamation, warfare, and really want to worship him in spirit and truth. The father says he looks for a worshiper he seeks after them. John 4:23
When I saw the Voi (Veiled Poi) I loved everything about them the way they would twirl, the sound they made, and the flow of colors and material. You could tell they really can stir up the presence of the Lord. This is what I was wanting.
I had Meghan prophetically dye them and it was more confirmation when she named them Gaze Upon His Face. Everything in her letter was right on and blessed me deeply.
This week has been very difficult to pick them up because well life has had me busy (put it that way). I went outside a couple of times and tried them, but the wind was strong and cold. I kept thinking to myself “…when am I going to be able to do these??”
Thursday evening came around and I realized the past two days I have tried my Vois I forgot to pray. This time around I prayed my worship would not be done in my will or strength, but in His will and strength. To completely surrender to Him and see what the Holy Spirit would have me do. In 15 minutes time I had something put together and it came so easily because I asked for His help. Imagine that? haha.
What a wonderful time of worship in a renewed way. I love the Voi they are a joy to give back to my Father in Honor and Praise.

Beautiful Shannon! I could hear the sound of the voi at the beginning of the video–what an impact! What a way to war and stir up the atmosphere. Watching you flow with the Spirit was inspiring. May you go even deeper in worship and intimacy with Him! I agree with the transition–may the Holy Spirit use you to stir up the atmosphere and move everyone in the vicinity of your worship into new places with the Lord!

Wonderful Shannon! Stirred me up! I know you will be stirring others as well as you war. What a great reminder to ask Him and include him in all things! I’ve been reminded today that it all comes together easier when we do.

Watched this over and over and it made me cry! SO beautiful!! My daughter watched too and said you looked so beautiful 🙂 Just awesome! You look like you have used these for years, wow, what a God given ability and gift to worship as He has created you to! And by the way, i love the paint colors in your house! Decor is lovely 🙂
