Altered Quill Wing

I know I haven’t officially announced the new quill wings, but couldn’t resist giving you a peek at the one that’s stolen my heart – the Altered Quill Wing.  These silks are an altered version of the 5mm china silk semicircles, but unlike the traditional dowel wings, this is a quill wing, which means the flexible rod (aka quill) is encased in a grosgrain ribbon long part of one side. Introducing Mini Quill Flags

I’m excited to introduce a new quill product affectionately named Mini Quill Flags. These flags are approximately 21″x21″ with a firmer quill (to help prevent breakage).  These flags are great for younger children. Isaiah in this video is 14 months and he LOVES silk and thoroughly enjoyed getting to have a pair of his own to use that were his size! Continue reading Introducing Mini Quill Flags

Layered Quill Flags

One of the fun things about quills is they are so light they can be layered!  In this video I am using a pair of 45″ quill flags with a pair of 45″ round quill flags. It’s a fun effect. You can see points where I slip my finger in between the two so you can see there’s two flags and other points where I grip them together. It gives a very full appearance. Soaring in His Righteousness 45″ Round Quills

You all may remember seeing Amanda E with a pair of Soaring in His Righteousness wings, well this is the same style only in the 45″ Round Quill Flags. Each flag is a quarter of a circle rather than the wing’s half circle in each one, but the rounded edge still gives that beautiful movement and these are so easy to use! Granddaughter in Worship

Just a quick picture of Tami’s swing flag being put to good use by her granddaughter who was having a blast worshiping the Lord with it!  Please note the Dyed4you Art on the wall (here’s the testimony that went with the biggest piece) and the Dyed4you pillowcases on the bed 🙂

This is a Dyed4you room!!!  Continue reading Granddaughter in Worship

Fur (Faux) Throw

We’ve added a new offering to our throws (aka prayer blankets). This snuggly throw is a super-soft, (faux) fur on one side and a heavy silk charmeuse on the other side that is custom dyed for you and comes with a letter with the word attached to it. The silk is prayed over and anointed just like any of our other silks. I LOVE mine! 😉 Continue reading Fur (Faux) Throw

IHOP Swing Flag Sighting

It’s always fun to see Dyed4you silk in action, and when one of the Dyed4you community has a scarf sighting it is EXTRA fun!

We had a comment come through yesterday on a scarf story from 2007 and in the comment she mentioned having seen Dyed4you swing flags being used in the Prayer Room at IHOP-KC at 5:30 am on the 18th. Immediately I was fairly certain I knew exactly which pair it was that she saw! Continue reading IHOP Swing Flag Sighting

Another Pair of Already Paid Voi

You may be wondering why I’m posting another video of a 35×84 voi pair called Already Paid.  The first video had the weights on the orange side which made the blue dominant when spinning. This one has blue weights so you’ll notice the orange is more dominant. I just thought it was fun for you to see how much of a difference it makes 🙂 Continue reading Another Pair of Already Paid Voi
