i have two boys and a plumber husband – i can relate to this sight in the sink.
This morning in the shower, I suddenly realized I was singing the old hymn “Nearer Blessed Lord”. I don’t know if this happens to you, but I will be singing and not really paying attention to how I got on the song and may not really “hear” it until I’m midway through it or done. Seems kinda odd how that can happen, but it just does. I like to think it is just my mind getting out of the way and my spirit following the Lord.
Anyways, back to the shower, my realization came when I got to the part “…To Thy precious, bleeding side.” And in that moment, I saw His bleeding side next to my side. His precious blood for me. Then my mind got in the way and I started wondering how I got on that song and lost my moment.
Watching this video brought that back and I thank you for restoring my precious time with Him moment.
O’ Meghan~thank you for posting this. I have been praying alot on the blood that he shed for ME. It is sometimes so hard for me to take it all in. Just this morning I was praying for being cleased by his Blood and I saw it dripping over me. Thank you Jesus! I have really felt him with me all day today. Love you Jesus!!!! ♥ you to Meghan
And Tonia, I will do the same thing with old Hymns~just all of a sudden I will be singing and think hum, we this song Lord. I always go right to HIM because he spaced it there.

OH JESUS we can only thank you so much and you deserve MORE, words could never express what You’ve done. Your blood poured out was only a part but it was a HUGE part and without it I am nothing but a filthy rag, and because of it I am washed clean, white as snow, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU LORD JESUS
