Joyous Heart Swing Flags

Spreading the joy with this pair of Joyous Heart swing flags 🙂

I realize I probably won’t be able to continue shooting video of EVERY new pair of swing flags, but I am still getting a feel for what looks like what in motion on these – so I figure since I am shooting video – I may as well share! Continue reading Joyous Heart Swing Flags

Peace Against Warfare

This silk was an interesting one because as it was being birthed a song came forth too! So I recorded it and uploaded a video of it with the camera facing the silk. When we looked at the video, a face was apparent in the silk – it was especially funny because several people who DON’T normally see things in the silk saw it because it was so clear.

Passion Fire Wing/Voi Combo (pair)

The Lord showed me this style in a dream, so seeing them come to fruition was beautiful for me! This is the same style as the Passion Fire streamer.

In this video you see me using the pair first as wings (and I am not as good with 2 as Amanda E, so if you want to see some beautiful movements with a pair of big wings, view this), then as a pair of voi, then as a single wing and finally a single voi.  Love these! Declaring Life swing flag

A couple of people will be receiving Declaring Life swing flags (including my friend who has helped with sewing them – thank You Jesus!!!).

Here I am demo-ing one of them – you’ll see I let my hand get wrapped and also let it slip to a corner instead of the normal grip spot – these babies are fun and flexible in their use! Continue reading Declaring Life swing flag

Semicircle Flag

I realized yesterday that though I offer the wing/flag seam for the semicircles, I’ve never done a demo of what the semicircle looks like as a flag.  It’s not long like the 45×108, which makes it much harder to get tangled on itself 🙂  Because of it’s size it still gives a big feel. Speaking to the Depths of her Being

A beautiful scarf story from our teacher-friend who had the amazing Class of Scarves story last year.  I covet your prayers for my friend as well – I’m sure the Lord will direct them as you read her beautiful story below: Continue reading Speaking to the Depths of her Being

D4Y/D4Yart Treasure Chest

A friend of Dyed4you found a treasure chest at North Star Books, who sells both Dyed4you scarves and Dyed4you Art.  A fellow artist, she shared her experience with us:

God had me on a treasure hunt today and look what I found at North Star in Nampa, Idaho! The red scarf is the one you sent me, but the rest “I found”. Continue reading D4Y/D4Yart Treasure Chest

Letting the Lord Speak

This is sort of a fun story for me because God stretched me in the middle of it too!  Many of you know that Dyed4you isn’t really just about getting a beautiful piece of silk, it’s about getting a word from the Lord that happens to have a tangible silk reminder 🙂

Increasingly I sense the Lord shifting me away from simply “executing” creating scarves (in other words, when people simply pick the scarf they want like you would in a department store) and focus on delivering His word in season to those who order.  The interesting part of this is helping first time buyers understand how it all works!  And there in begins our story. Wait Upon the Lord (Scarf Story x2)

During Amanda E’s visit this past October, I felt the Lord prompt me that He wanted me (Meghan) to get a word.  So I slipped one into the pre-dye planning with no instructions and left it for Amanda to birth. Continue reading Wait Upon the Lord (Scarf Story x2)
