Whole Heart LWH (Dowel)

WholeHeartDowelLWThis is a special order large dowel wing (8mm weight) in the Whole Heart style which you’ve seen before in swing flags. This was the first time I’d created a LW in the dowel variety (usually they’re quills). I’m using a 36″ dowel, which is shorter than the length the quill typically is, but it worked great and looks beautiful!

Constancy Swing Flags (with blooper)

Constancy-blooperBecause I’m not afraid to laugh at myself I decided not to edit this video so you get to see a blooper of me smacking myself in the face (which incidentally didn’t hurt, it only startled me – it only hurts if you get yourself in the eye! First rule of swing flags, don’t hit yourself – or any one else – in the eye!!!). This is a pair of regular swing flags called Constancy and the music is live from IHOP-KC. Enjoy! 35×84 Simple Flag

PassionFire-SimpleFlagTypically, when I do simple flags (which is just a silk with a flag seam added) people usually have me cut a 35×84 in half with two flag seams added (like these). But with this one, I just did one seam on the end which allows it to be used both as a flag and still be worn/danced with as a 35×84. I had the idea to use it on a 48″ dowel instead of 36″ and it made all the difference!

2 yr old with Streamer

Isaiah-RohiThis post needs to have a serious cuteness warning on it – LOL!  The first video below is Isaiah with his 2 yr birthday gift – a 2.5 yd streamer, the second video is him 6 months later at church wielding two 3 yd streamers together, and the final one is a demo video of me with his special order 2.5 yd streamer (which is called YHVH Rohi, the Lord my Shepherd). So precious!!! Continue reading 2 yr old with Streamer

Holy Fire Swing Flags

HolyFireSwingFlagsIn this video we have a pair of regular swing flags called Holy Fire and though you’ve seen Holy Fire before (like this video here), you haven’t seen a pair like this – and I really like how they came out.  You guys really liked the picture I posted of them while they were dyeing when I posted it on our Facebook page too 🙂 Continue reading Holy Fire Swing Flags

Beckoned LWH

BeckonedLWHYou got to see this quill wing briefly in the LWH / XLW comparison we posted a couple weeks ago, but here you get to see it in action.  We actually got to hear from the woman who received this (she got it as a gift for her church – as well as receiving a little extra thank you silk from Abba) – here’s her quick testimonial: Continue reading Beckoned LWH

Introducing the MWH

MWHExcited to officially introduce a new quill product, the MWH (medium wing heavy), which just means it’s the 8mm weight rather than the “normal” (for quills) 5mm weight. I LOVE these quills!  I know I’ve done sneak peeks on the soon to be officially announced LWH, but this slightly smaller size (view size comparison between the large and medium here) is so easy to use 🙂 Continue reading Introducing the MWH

Introducing Large & Light Swing Flags

LLswingWe’re officially launching a new product called the Large & Light Swing Flags!  These are the same size as our large swing flags, but are made out of 5mm china silk instead of 8mm like the regular and large are.  That means they are lightweight and floaty – a slow flag – great for intimate devotion time!
