Introducing the Patchwork Throw (aka Prayer Blanket)

It’s actually interesting to me the timing of when all this has come together.ย  You see, I made the first patchwork throw as a gift for a very special friend for her birthday… and today is her birthday. It’s been two years to the day ๐Ÿ™‚

Back then I didn’t think I’d make another, but about two months ago someone approached me about making them one.ย  I did the one (which you’ll undoubtedly see pictures of soon) and realized I REALLY didn’t want to be the one sewing these! LOL ๐Ÿ™‚ย  But God provided a faithful Dyed4you customer and friend (Tami) to sew them.ย  I had her do one for me as a sample so you all could see it and so I could create an order page for it. Little Proclaimer

Such a sweet story of miss Maddy who now has her OWN scarf ๐Ÿ™‚

This morning I was obviously waiting with great anticipation for the mailman to come. As soon as I saw him, I ran out the door. What’s better is MADDY ran out the door and recognized the package and yelled “MY SCARF MOMMY!!!”. Continue reading Little Proclaimer

Confirmations & Symbolic Sword

God amazes me with each story He writes using these silks ๐Ÿ™‚ย  Before I share Kim’s story, I have to tell you my part of her story!

Kim shared the few pieces of the puzzle God had given her about her scarf when she ordered and immediately God told me which style to make – a modified version of The Violent Take it By Force. Continue reading Confirmations & Symbolic Sword

This is a new pair of voi I created called Joyful Praise.ย  In the pictures Caleb Brundidge is worshiping with them at Glad Tidings Church – JoAnn McFatter is on the keyboard behind him – sorry I don’t have video of him, but I do have video of me demo-ing the voi before I sent them to him. Church Releasing the Promises of God

I must confess, I thoroughly enjoy hearing multiple stories over the same piece(s) of silk. I love knowing it’s not just a cool moment when it’s received, but that it continues to be a blessing and a tool.

Back in May I shared another moment that this Voi veil was used as a billow.ย  Well, it happened again – this time the WHOLE church (and a large congregation at that) participated – she share’s the story here: Continue reading Church Releasing the Promises of God

Warrior Princess & Bursting Forth

This is a fun story ๐Ÿ™‚ This woman emailed me when she ordered her scarf – she had said for me to do whatever God said, but then commented:

As I browsed through your site I was drawn to the photo of a lady wearing one of your beaded veils. It almost looked like a mahogany brown with splashes of turquoise and metallic gold. Just really wanting to be a mighty warrior princess for His kingdom as I allow His Spirit to move through me.

Little did she know, the name of the scarf she liked WAS Warrior Princess ๐Ÿ™‚ Continue reading Warrior Princess & Bursting Forth

Anointed Feet

Three friends ordered scarves together and each’s story shows how God uniquely touches each of us (as we’ve seen in past scarf stories). This story is pieced together from a number of Facebook interactions ๐Ÿ™‚ย  I know you’ll get to hear at least 1 of the other friend’s stories too. Continue reading Anointed Feet

Ohio Auction

About a month ago, Amanda Estep asked me if I’d pray about donate stuff for their silent auction for raising funds for their women’s retreat.  I ended up sending 5 printcards (the Beloved and Warrior series) and an 11×60 Deeper Waters scarf.  The auction was today and here’s what Amanda shared so far: Continue reading Ohio Auction
