Bendie Update
As you know we’re always working to improve our products and create the best worship tools for you we’re able. We just made an update to our bendie rod design! We had been using different bendies depending on this type of flag we were creating, but we’ve settled on a single (fabulous if we do say so ourselves) design that will be in all bendie flags and wings going forward. Changes Afoot
A few new things going on that we wanted to make sure you guys knew about. Dowel Wing Change
As we’ve started using our new dowel line more, we realized we could make a small change to the dowel wing design that would make them easier to create, while maintaining the integrity of the piece. Instead of doing a combination of serging and hemming, we’re now serging the whole thing just like we’ve always done with our medium and large quill wings. 🙂 Continue reading Dowel Wing Change
Anointed Artisans
I know this one is long, but there’s a LOT of good stuff in here – silk stories, words shared by one of you in the Dyed4you Community as well as some fun Dyed4you history. So I hope you’ll be blessed by it!
First up is a topic I’ve shared on a number of times on the our blog and it’s one I feel passionate about. God has specifically anointed certain people to do certain things. I call them anointed artisans (think of artisan as being an expert not simply an artist because you could be an “artisan” of computer code if that’s what Papa has gifted you to do). Operating in Love (The Prophetic Voice)
I shared this on my personal blog, but given the nature of what we do here at Dyed4you and Dyed4you Ministries in general, I felt like this was worth sharing because this is how we strive to operate: in love. We desire to see the Body function in the prophetic in a healthy, biblical way. After having been in a prophetic ministry for over a decade, I have seen how easy it is for it to be used as a weapon and for people to be hurt, disillusioned, and fall away as a result of lack of teaching in the prophetic and people not operating in it in a biblical way. Anointed vs Counterfeit
This is my third post now about Why it Matters Who Makes Your Flags and why it’s so important to have tools Created Under the Anointing. I want to start by quoting a section of my initial post.
When the tabernacle was built the Lord says of the men he selected to lead the design/creation that He had “filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills— to make artistic designs” (Ex 31:3-4).
How-to Receive Dyed4you Art/Silk
We like to say that the words you receive from Dyed4you and Dyed4you Art are a portion of a conversation, not a conversation in its entirety. We love to hear that we’re confirming something He’s already shared. Ideally, each of us should hear His voice for ourselves and words from others should mostly confirm and expand things He’s already shared, but regrettably many of us have been taught to doubt our ability to hear Him for ourselves. We rely so strongly on our natural senses that we prefer to hear another person tell us what He’s saying to us because we trust our natural senses more than our spiritual ones. What is a Prophetic Word?
A while back I shared How-To Receive a Prophetic Word, and on our sites we talk about the letters (prophetic words) that come with our silk and art and the fact that they are supposed to be a portion of a conversation with God, not an entire conversation in and of themselves. These prophetic pieces are intended to facilitate conversation with God, add a dimension to interactions that are hopefully already occurring, or begin conversation if none is.
