This is a post I shared on my personal blog not long ago, but since it’s about worship – which is so much the heart of Dyed4you – I thought I’d share it here as well. It all begins with a question: if worship is our gift to God is it more important that it be how we want? Or how He wants? Continue reading Worshiping God (Exodus 32)

Getting the Hell out of my House
Thank you, Meghan for inviting me to share what the LORD has placed on my heart with you and the Dyed4You community. This is NOT the posting I thought I would launch with, but trust the LORD’s timing. This seems like a very intense introduction and I am humbled to share this post, as it feels like it just “broke through” my agenda and ordered plan to share. May these posts serve to encourage and build one another up in love (1 Thes 5:11). Continue reading Getting the Hell out of my House
D4Y/D4Y Art Newsletter
I received another request yesterday from someone asking to be added to my Newletters… so I’m finally creating one! For those of you on FB (especially those who follow the blog), I’ve given great thought to what I can do to make the Newletters of interest to you and since there will likely be overlap. Continue reading D4Y/D4Y Art Newsletter
Other Contributors
So I had a thought the other day that I’ve been praying on and have acted on. There are a number of people who sow into my life through their encouragement and intercession, as a result the Dyed4you community at large is blessed because I pour back out what’s been poured in. The thought I had was to let some of them pour directly to you. Continue reading Other Contributors
Ohio Auction
About a month ago, Amanda Estep asked me if I’d pray about donate stuff for their silent auction for raising funds for their women’s retreat. I ended up sending 5 printcards (the Beloved and Warrior series) and an 11×60 Deeper Waters scarf. The auction was today and here’s what Amanda shared so far: Continue reading Ohio Auction
New Dyed4you eCards
Something new for Dyed4you fans – free ecards! They are both Dyed4you Art and Dyed4you scarves (as well as images shot for Dyed4you Art that aren’t being used in any at the moment).
You can even suggest new ecards if you don’t see what you were looking for 🙂 Continue reading New Dyed4you eCards
Gelah Raz (Revealer of Mysteries)
Sometimes people wonder “why” I’ve chosen various colors or oils for their scarf, or why one scarf letter is less than half a page and another is three pages (though they’re rarely that long!). The only way I can answer that is by talking about the nature of God and how He wants to use this ministry. Continue reading Gelah Raz (Revealer of Mysteries)

Caleb & Worship
We were blessed enough to have Caleb Brundidge visit our church (with Cindy McGill) to do some outreach training and minister with us.
This series of videos includes Caleb sharing on worship followed by him ministering with some flags… they’re not Dyed4you flags, but he’s so gifted I couldn’t resist sharing! But you will notice a “man scarf” I gave him tied to his belt loop in the back 🙂 Continue reading Caleb & Worship
Revisiting What God’s Said
Yesterday I wrote a blog on believing the earthly things God tells you. Then I received this note from a long-time D4Y customer. She attends a church where each woman has been given a scarf (and as new women join, they are given one). I thought what their pastor shared was a great reminder, so I wanted to pass it along 🙂 Continue reading Revisiting What God’s Said
God with a Sense of Humor
During the time I’ve been dyeing with God, I’ve found He often works in themes. So during various seasons He may give the same word to more than one person and it’s the right word for both of them. I used to feel awkward about this, because I felt like people would somehow feel slighted by getting a word someone else got too. Over time I realized my obedience was more important and in the end what people want is the RIGHT word 🙂 Continue reading God with a Sense of Humor
Burying Scarves
In the last couple weeks, two people have contacted me to tell me that loved ones that had died were buried with their Dyed4you scarves. In both cases there was some sweet memory attached to the scarf that was precious enough for these people to want to keep these little pieces of silk with them (until Jesus returns – hallelujah!). Continue reading Burying Scarves
