Lots of things to update you all on.  First off, my hubby made it home from Haiti – YAY!!!  What was emphasized to me while he was gone is that there is NO WAY I could do this ministry without him.  There are vital pieces that he takes care of and without him I was running around crazy trying to be both of us.  Words can’t express how grateful I am for him and for what God continues to do in our marriage 🙂

Advertising

The D4Yart changes were put into effect this evening. I am really excited about this and feel like D4Yart just snapped into alignment with the model God has for D4Y/D4Yart, which is person and prophetic.  When you get a second, check out the explanation I added on the Dyed4you Art homepage.

Also, I believe I’m being prompted to do some advertising on FB this week for D4Yart. Please pray for wisdom so I know it’s His idea and not mine!

Another fun advertising thing He put on my heart to do is magnets.  These business card sized magnets will have a piece of D4Yart on them as well as a D4Y scarf and the URLs to both sites.  The first one (I’m planning to do a series so people can collect them) is Lavishing Praise and Abiding Worship.  You each will be receiving one in the mail – so keep an eye out!

D4Y Outpost

Before I get into this next topic, I just want to remind you all that what I share here is confidential ministry business. I say that not because I don’t trust you, but rather because some of you in your enthusiasm for what I’m about to say might forget and post something publicly on Facebook and I don’t want that.  So, I thought the reminder might be timely 😉

I referred to the D4Y Outpost concept in my last updates.  Basically what God showed me this past summer was people with prophetic and artistic giftings being trained and grafted into Dyed4you.  Essentially, orders would come into “home base” (i.e. me) and I would pray about who the Lord would want to have dye it and then that location would dye the order and ship it (i.e. it could be me or any one of the D4Y Outposts).

One of the long-time D4Y intercessors wasn’t sure what she thought about this when I first shared this with her last summer, but God gave her a dream:

I just remembered I had a dream last night about Dyed4you. It seems there were several women under that covering, in different parts of the country. I was talking with one of them about a scarf she was designing. Hmmm… I’ll let you know if I remember more. The impression I got was of flawless power. You releasing the business to expand did not water down the power (as my natural mind would imagine) but increased it in power, glory and creativity. Flawless Power. I like that.

This aligns with what I felt like God showed me – where as D4Y Outposts were added, the anointings of each of those who joined in was added to D4Y and how God would move through the ministry.  This is one of the reasons that though people see a lot of “Meghan” I’ve tried to make it about God and Dyed4you rather than about MEGHAN.  I’m just one of the willing vessels behind D4Y and in the future I hope there will be many more.

I love the fact that this allows the ministry to grow without losing the personal touch.  It’s multiple people, touching many people.

As God began to unfold the plan to me this past summer, I also believe He also showed me who the first D4Y Outpost would be.  I don’t think many of you will be surprised to hear that the person He identified is Amanda E. She is aware I’m talking with you about this – so if you want to contact her directly to comment, that’s fine, but as mentioned previously please don’t do it in a public venue like her Facebook wall!

During the last 9 months, Amanda has dyed with me 3 times during 2 different visits.  She’s helped write countless scarf letters (including a portion of the Ascend letter and one she birthed that was for me – something she didn’t know as she was reading my mail). I believe part of the reason God had her step down from all things D4Y for a season was so He could refine her and align her to be connected in a way where the ministry never usurped Him or her family. He “tried” her and said “which will you choose?” and she chose wisely.

This week, she and I had our first conversation about D4Y Outpost specifics (like what percentages from sales go where – the stuff y’all were praying for).  We are very much hoping to get her here for another visit to go over more specifics (possibly this weekend) – she will help me set processes in place for future D4Y Outposts.  Please pray for God’s timing on her visit and for logistics to be worked out smoothly.

I actually may have a couple D4Y houseguests in the not too distant future – so prayer for me and for those visits in general is GREATLY appreciated!

Time (Book / Covering)

This leads to my next point which is TIME! There are a number of things that need to get done that simply haven’t.  I seem to go from full-speed to collapse mode.  I am still learning how to function with the increased business (God’s actually intentionally slowing it at the moment so I can catch up). Prayer for me to get all this figured out appreciated because I haven’t worked on the book (which I DO feel like I’m supposed to be), I haven’t moved forward on getting the 501c3 covering in place even though I have the ok to move forward, I haven’t written the part of my testimony that climaxes with the Kim Clement mention (which I feel like God said I’m to send to him), and a number of other things.  So yeah – prayer appreciated 🙂

Very Personal Prayer Request

I can tell I trust you guys because I’m about to open up a major ouchie for me. My weight.  Obviously poor choices landed me in this spot, but there are now physical ramifications of those choices that make correcting it not as simple as just “eating better”.

Physically the weight is taking a toll (I have now been considered obese for 22 years). But the fact is that I have had in excess of 10 prophetic words about God supernaturally correcting this.  Supernatural weightloss has been spoken over me repeatedly, and consistently I hear a size 10 and/or 130 lbs.  He’s given people visions (including both Allen and I) of me at this weight.  Candidly, at this point it’s difficult for me to stand in faith for what He’s promised (like I’ve actually gotten angry the last few confirming words on this topic He sent), which is why I am asking you all to stand with me.

I am not clear if the supernatural will be fast or slow or some combination. I know my thyroid will need to be healed (and He’s taken me off meds for it and indicated it will not be via that method I find healing) and specifically others have spoken that there will be no trace (including no hanging skin).

Words cannot express to you how sensitive this issue is for me – not so much the weight itself (God’s brought a lot of healing and I actually am learning to love and not judge myself) – but about holding this specific promise in faith.  PLEASE be led of the Lord in what you comment to me about and only share if HE tells you to and if in doubt, just hold it to yourself and pray it out.

I know God has (and will continue) to minister through this area. Just today I got an email from someone thanking me because basically everyone has shamed her and told her you have to be skinny to minister in dance. Seeing me with flags released her into this worship. God amazes me how he uses the broken areas of our lives…

Please also pray for Allen to be able to stand in faith with me on this promise.  I know he struggles with wondering if it will ever happen – and though I was ~300 lbs when we got married, it doesn’t mean he wouldn’t prefer it otherwise – and candidly, his doubt can feel crushing for me.  He’s doing well right now, but prayer would be appreciated anyhow 🙂

Prayer Team Updates

We have a new addition – KimO – who a number of you may know from Facebook. So now we have a Kimberly B and a Kim O – not to be confused, they are two people (and both wonderful)!

Finally I’ve continued my daily prayer for the team and have had God download several things for a few of you individually that have been a blessing – I’m excited to be able to cover and bless you all as you cover and bless me and the ministry.  As I tell you time and time again – I couldn’t do it without you!
