Luke 10:19 declares, “Behold, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means harm you.”
How many years do we waste as Christians thinking the devil is chasing us down, when the truth is that Jesus has already stripped him of his power? On the cross, Christ bore all of our infirmities, every sickness, every curse. He defeated sin, He defeated death, and He defeated the enemy once and for all.
