I’ve shared silks before with a dear friend’s daughter (here’s one of them), and Papa put it on my heart to do so again. Since her brothers also enjoyed her flags, I sent them streamers of their own. So here are two sweet moments about a week apart. Needless to say they love them!

It’s always fun to me to get to see how silks will get passed along. First blessing one, then another, etc. This one is especially fun for me because these started out as mine. They were my first pair of swing flags, and in fact one of the first pairs every made by Dyed4you! After I’d had them for a season, Papa had me pass them along to the “mama of Dyed4you”, and after she’d had them for a season she passed them along to a young man at her church who was clearly anointed to flag. This is a beautiful story about a silk that a grandmother gifted to one of her granddaughters. The young lady who was the recipient has been in a dark place for a while, she’s only 12. She didn’t see a reason to live, didn’t feel loved or seen my anyone. Here’s an amazing testimony of how our awesome God works!!! A woman in the Dyed4you community has ordered different flags for all her children and each testimony is mind blowing to me because they’re right on on EVERY little detail, but the Medium quills in the Glory style she got for her younger daughter have a particularly amazing testimony. This is the young dance team at Passion for Truth affectionately nicknamed the PFT Angels (who you’ve seen before). In this dance to Born for This (which they performed Purim weekend), they use a special order 6 yard billow and two 3 yd streamers. You’ve seen the billow before in a quiet worship moment I’d shared. This is too cute not to share this video of a child with a regular sized swing flag. I believe this one is Come Away with Me, and if I’m correct you’ve seen demos of this one before (like this one). One of the reasons I love swing flags is because they don’t have a rod in them, a child like this can grab it and worship to her heart’s content without the parent having to be concerned about injury to her child or anyone else! Ever wonder how old someone has to be to use swing flags? Well my friend here is 2.5 yrs old – so know that because there’s no rods in swing flags they can be used by folks of all ages! This flag is called Every Captive Free (yep – just like the giveaway quills I posted last week!). See his daddy using the flags here 🙂
