We were inspired to try a new size swing flag – it’s a longer version of our regular swing flag (which is 35×55″), this one was 35×84″ and it turned out lovely! This recipient got one in the Made Clean style (read the full word for this silk on our Dyed4you Ministries blog) and is loving worshipping with it! A beautiful video of our friend Elisa Eaton of Waiting in the Wings wearing her custom oversized tallit. This silk is one of our new “multi-silks” which are words where two or more silks have been combined creating an extended word. In this case, the Cloud by Day silk (the tallit) had a satin strip of a Fire by Night silk added to it creating a multi-silk called “His Abiding Presence” (you may have seen video of me with my double layer spin wings in the same multi-silk style). As you all know from my many posts, I love cross pollination between ministries! This silk story shared my friend Christina (from Wings of Mercy Arising) with the regular swing wings I gave her as well as me with the silk I got from her called Father’s Heart. What was fun about the ones I made her is that she unknowingly named them! I shared this on my personal blog, but given the nature of what we do here at Dyed4you and Dyed4you Ministries in general, I felt like this was worth sharing because this is how we strive to operate: in love. We desire to see the Body function in the prophetic in a healthy, biblical way. After having been in a prophetic ministry for over a decade, I have seen how easy it is for it to be used as a weapon and for people to be hurt, disillusioned, and fall away as a result of lack of teaching in the prophetic and people not operating in it in a biblical way. This is my third post now about Why it Matters Who Makes Your Flags and why it’s so important to have tools Created Under the Anointing. I want to start by quoting a section of my initial post.
When the tabernacle was built the Lord says of the men he selected to lead the design/creation that He had “filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills— to make artistic designs” (Ex 31:3-4).
It’s always fun when I “happen” upon one of our silks! Several years back I did a post called Why it Matters Who Makes Your Flags. The short version is basically that I want to use tools made by those God has anointed to create them, not ones created in the flesh. I shared in that post several other ministries that I felt were anointed to create worship tools including of course our sister ministry Prophetic Worship Banners, Andrea York, and Margie Puckett of Unhindered and Unashamed.
