I know that many of you LOVE shimmer and so do I which is why I don’t want to do away with it, but the fact of the matter is that the shimmering process per scarf actually takes as long or longer than the dyeing process, which is why in the not too distant future I’m going to have to start charging for shimmer. » more »

If you’ve received a silk with it’s letter folded inside out it’s not that we are letter-folding-challenged, it’s that we started to discover that it’s often easier for you (particularly if you order more than one scarf) and for us if we can read the name of the silk without having to open the package. » more »

I had an email last night from someone who had been very wounded and confused by experiences in a church that moved in the prophetic. This is not the first time someone has shared a story like this with me, nor will it likely be the last.

Regrettably, experiences like these are often what have chased people away from from all things prophetic – which is a bit like throwing out the baby with the bath water. What really needs to happen is that we need to learn how to properly receive a prophetic word – and often this isn’t something we’re taught, but rather something we learn over time (and through hurts). Hopefully, what I’ve shared below will help, even if they simply serve as a reminder for people who already function in these principles.

An Ordinary Day
Today while getting ready for the day, I was reflecting upon something the LORD has asked me to do. I initially responded to Him with, “Yes, LORD.” There have been no further instructions. I am waiting for the next command. So I had a thought the other day that I’ve been praying on and have acted on. There are a number of people who sow into my life through their encouragement and intercession, as a result the Dyed4you community at large is blessed because I pour back out what’s been poured in. Sometimes people wonder “why” I’ve chosen various colors or oils for their scarf, or why one scarf letter is less than half a page and another is three pages (though they’re rarely that long!). The only way I can answer that is by talking about the nature of God and how He wants to use this ministry. » more »
